Is it true that it's a good idea to roll back your foreskin everytime you piss? I think I read this somewhere. Apparently when you don't roll it back, the pee hole is a bit obstructed by the loose skin that hangs out at the front of the penis. I also read that it's good public bath ettiquette to retract your foreskin before you get in. Is this true? Apparently this is also for hygene purposes, although I'd imagine it would make things worse because you'd probably release a lot of smegma into the bath water.

Hey bud, depends on the length of your foreskin. Some, like mine don't completely cover the head of my penis all the time so peeing isn't a problem. If however your foreskin will interefere with the stream or there is a chance that some of the pee will remain under the foreskin, then yes...retract it and prevent that from happening. A quick shake and there shouldn't be a problem with any of it hanging around. As to other hygiene. Every time you bath/shower you should retract the foreskin back and clean under there good as well as the head of your penis. Warm water works fine, some soaps are too irritating. If you're concerned about smegma in the bath water, do this at the end and there'll be no problem. But, smegma is simply a naturally occuring lubricant that helps the foreskin move smoothly on the head of your penis, therefore, smegma in the bath water is no worse than other body fluids, sweat etc that you're cleaning off as well.

Retracting the foreskin when urinating will keep things cleaner. I personally wipe with tissue too. I mean, why would I want urine on my underwear??? Right? And what do you mean by "public" bath ettiquette?

Thanks for the reply. I was talking about public baths, as in those types that they had in the old days, and they still have today. The same ettiquette apparently also applies for spas etc. But you are supposedly meant to retract your foreskin out of courtesy. I never go to public baths and I rarely go to the spa, and quite frankly I don't really care about ettiquette in those places, but I just asked out of pure curiosity.

Retract the foreskin out of courtesy?? Why? You need to retract to be able to wash, not for others to see.

If you're releasing a lot of smegma into the water you need to wash more often. I've never had it and all it takes is a normal washing as though it was another part of your body.
