I was thinking the other day about hormonal treatment some homosexual men take, changing their body chemistry, and even some people who go as far to have a sex change.I heard that a man can develop breasts by doing that -- changing the body chemistry to more like that of a woman's - but I got really curious about something. If he changed his body chemistry to a woman's and started developing womanly features, is it possible that he would develop mammary glands too, or any type of glands that would be found in a woman's breast? Or would his breast be 100% fat?Sorry. I'm just bored and I was curious. :P

REALLY random question...

Both males and females have both male and female sex hormones, but males have more male hormone than female, and females more female than male.If a male takes oestrogen (spelt estrogen in the US), which is one particular female sex hormone, he will develop breasts similar to a woman's. As far as I know they are fully functional, though this is not normally put to the test. This isn't something gay men normally do - it's done by male-to-female transexuals: people who are biologically male but believe they are meant to be female.

along the same note, another random question, If a guy did the oestrogen injections, would he be less able to get hard? or would his penis even shrink?

Actually - I did some research for my own question and I found something I didn't know.Men have milk-making glands too, and can actually lactate. They just rarely (or never) have the surge of hormones a woman has after child birth to actually lactate, but the potential is there. With proper hormonal treatment, a man can lactate like a woman. And some men can lactate just by wanting to.Pretty interesting.

I don't know for sure, though I think not (tranny porn suggests not).

I think it would have more to do with low levels of testosterone than high levels of female hormones.
