I think that I can of like her. I don't know her too well, although I see her every day. She's a friend of mines friend that I met this year. She hung out with me and a few friends at lunch and she seemed pretty cool. So how can I really go about this if I hardly know her, and am just now being considered a "friend"?

So there's this girl...

First, you want to try to talk to her one-on-one. Even if it's with a group of people. Eventually, you want to isolate the conversation. This means taking her to a place where only the two of you are talking. Then, tell her that you plan on doing (just for example) after school and see if she would like to join you. When you say you're going to do (whatever you say you're going to do) say it as if you're inviting her along and you've already planned on doing it even if she's not going. For example:I'm so glad the weekend is here. I've been planning on going to play pool at six-pockets all week. You wanna go?It's better to find out what kind of weaknesses she has first. Shopping, what kind of movies she likes, or a particular kind of food like italian. She's a lot more likely to want to join you if it's something she really likes doing. Here are some things that have worked for me in the past:me : "Hey "Ashley" I wanted to talk to you about something. I really wanted to go shopping this weekend for clothes for work. Ya know, being a guy I'm kind of fashion disabled, and I know shopping is your thing."her : "sooo you need my help"me : "I'll take you out to lunch to any restaurant you want in return."She happily accepted. In casual conversation I brought up that a I really wanted to see this movie that is coming out ... (not really I just knew she wanted to see it) ...her : "Oh yeah, I've been tryin to go see that movie"me : "I've been planning on going this weekend sometime. We should go together."her : "yeah"me : "What do you think about Saturday at around 8ish? I'll check the movie times."her : "sounds like a plan"I proceed to tell her later the movie time and that I'll call her at 7:30. I like to tell them when I'm going to call. No excuses if they don't answer. Plus, if I say I'm going to call at 7:30, then I will call at 7:29 7:30 or 7:31I called this one girl up on a Sunday. I know exactly when she got out of church and that she usually went home and just ate whatever's in the house. Though, she has a big weakness for a particular local italian restaurant. So I call her up on her cell.her : "hello"me : "hey, what's up"her : "nothin' just got out of church and in my kitchen looking for something to eat"(hehehe, perfect)me : "yeah, I just got done running some errands. (I woke up and got dressed to take her out an hour ago) I've been hungry since I woke up. You know what would be good? Some italian food"her : "haha, oh hecks yeah! I was just talking about that with my brother."me : "I think I'm just gonna go by ..."her : "oooh, that sounds so good right now"me : "Well... I guess I could be nice and let you come along"her : "I'd love you forever!"me : "That doesn't sound half bad! haha. Hmmm, I guess I'll come by your place in half an hour, does that sound good?"her : "yep, I'm ready!"

Thanks for the advice . It's just...wouldn't it seem odd talking to her like that, when I've hardly known her. We're just starting out on getting to know eachother. If we see eachother in the hall, we smile and say hi, and we'll talk a bit if we're in a group. That's about it though...

you sligh dog you! I got a girl that I like, I thiiink she likes me, but, and heres the kicker, she ALSO likes this other guy, now, she hangs out with me alot more than him, but she talks about him quite a bit, I think she likes me cause she was talking to someone on msn and they asked if she had a bf and she said "weeeellll, thirs this guy from turkey (the kids a forgein exchange student) and this guy i always hang out with, but other then that, no" so, I think she lieks me, and i deffinatly liek her, but i dont know how to find out if she actually does like "like" me
-
No, not really. That's the best time to talk to a girl. The point of a "date" or "one-on-one session" is to get to know each other better.
-
Next time you two are hanging out alone, physically get closer to her. See if she gets uncomfortable, then you know what's up. If she doesn't get uncomfortable, then go in for a kiss when it feels right.
-
uhhmmm, she doesnt mind when i'm close to her, when shes at my house on the computer i can sit behind her on the same chair, wouldnt it be better to...i dunno, ask her or one of her friends or soemthing?

Alright, in which case you can try this move.I copy pasted this from somewhere a few years back. Try it.Assuming you've built attraction and rapport with the girl, comfortably violate her personal space, i.e. get close to her face to face. Tell her you like her earrings or ears and touch them or the lobe. Begin outlining the contour of her ear and tell her how much you like her ear. When you've done two laps, begin tracing the contour of her face: move to "safer" areas, such as her jawline, chin, then up around her forehead. Tell her how much you admire them, i.e. pace what you see.If she lets you do this, you're pretty much in and you can really push the envelope. Move your finger down the bridge of her nose until you get to her lips. Outline her lips. Tell them how soft the feel (don't tell her how you'd like to kiss them, keep the tension going). When you're get done with her lips, make a half circle up to her eyebrows and trace her eyebrows. This will cause her to close her eyes. Go in for the kiss.Warning though, this routine can be a little tricky because you want to get a good circling rhythm and you don't want to "bump" into anything. I suggest practicing on finding a rhythm on your own face first. The cool thing about this routine is that once you begin outlining the contour of her face, if she doesn't pull back, she's just waiting--expecting--you to kiss her. So you can kiss her at any time.

My personal favorite is the tickle fight. If we're both laying on the bed, I'll start tickling her. I'll tickle her on the opposite side of her body so she jumps toward me. Once we've both calmed down a little bit and I'm over her, I look into her eyes, then down to her lips, then slowly draw in for the kiss.

uhhmnnnn, any advise that involves NOT making her think i wanna do her instead of date her?
-
Giggity giggity giggity, that was written by Glenn Quagmire, wasn't it?
-
shrugs A kiss doesn't have to mean "do me now!"I remember one time I was at lunch and some girl sent her friend over to ask if I liked her. She couldn't approach me herself? At that point, a girl I knew nearby grabbed my arm and told the girl to go back to her friend and tell her that I was taken. That was really cool. I wonder what would have happened if she would have come over herself to talk to me.Anyway, I just think if you want to find out then you should do it yourself. But that's just me. Plenty of people in school used other people to find out for them.

I don't watch family guy.
-
yes if only i didnt have a deep unnerving fear of rejection
-
Most people have a fear of rejection. I had a deep fear of rejection for a very long time and had to pry myself out of it. I still have a bit of fear and nervousness when I set myself up for rejection... but we all work through it one way or another.
