The best way I've found to avoid junk is to simply not buy in the first place. I know this sounds stupidly obvious, but it's easier to say no to those cookies in the supermarket, than when you're starving at home. Don't buy them, and you won't ever have them around to eat.Otherwise I eat a lot of ham and cheese toasted sandwiches, nuts, fruit, rolls, toast, cereal, yogurt, tuna, rice, pasta, eggs (hard boil a dozen at a time, and just keep them in the fridge) and other things I can't think of right now. A big glass of milk is sometimes enough to keep me going a short time.I eat a lot of carbs as I struggle to put on weight, but they'd still be fine for most people, so long as they're not an afternoon or late night snack.

The best way I've found to avoid junk is to simply not buy in the first place. Amen to that. If I get a box of cookies / box of chocolates / box of pretzels, I can eat the whole thing in two days. Better to buy a chocolate bar every once in a while than eat half a pound of it at home.

See, I'm the opposite. It takes forever for me to eat junk food. I guess I'm just weird.

Same here. Things like that often go stale before I finish them off. I'm not much of a sweets person.
