Some info or insight please.....Why do Americans so frequently substitute Christmas good wishes with "Happy holidays", "Holiday season" etcI just find this sits a bit odd with the nation that always talks about its Christian base.I had heard the term "Christmas" had been shelved so as to not upset the Jewish power base.Any truth in this?'

Christmas

You are correct except it's political correctness to not offend ANYONE who is not of the Christian faith.
-
Also, the holiday season falls around different holidays for people who aren't Christian. So, we just say Happy Holidays just to be inclusive.
I personally don't have a problem with it. Christmas has lost its true meaning due to the commercialization of everything. It's not a "Christian" holiday anymore, IMO.

The Jews, who control everything, decided that they would no longer permit "Merry Christmas" to be said at Walmart, and other places where non-Jews do all their shopping. (You must understand that the Jews all shop at Saks Fifth Avenue, but it doesn't really matter, because Jews don't actually have to pay for anything.)Now that I've revealed this secret, told to me by a Jew, I'm sure I'm in grave danger. Wait, is that the Mossad at the door?[To anyone deficient in neurons: yes, that was sarcasm.]

I apologize if I hit a raw nerve SteveAs you would say I was just using "the available data".Sorry I seem to have missed your alternative reasons?btw, I'm part yid myself, so I've got no anti-semite axe to grind, as the sarcasm implies?
