Do girls get anything sexually outta a guy having them? As far as intimate kisses, orally, ect. My girl wants me to get one, and I was thinking about it as well.Anyone got any experience with these? Is it worth me going through 2 weeks of a swelled up tongue? Haha

Tongue rings...
-
Look here tongue piercing.I don't think that I've ever seen a tongue ring, but I've seen a bunch of studs. I've noticed that a lot of people keep playing with them, and beat the crap out of their teeth in the process. They're also not always easy to keep clean (they trap food particles), and a serious tongue infection is a possibility. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but each to his own.
-
Yeah, Im basically doing it for her, something new I guess, Im terrified of needles, so I can only imagine a big ass spike. Hah...But if its something to spice up sex, I figure what the hell, Im young and only live once!
-
Never do something for someone else. Do it for yourself becasue you want it.
-
I TOTALLY agree with you sdp, but at least this one could be allowed to heal...
-
I'm not sure sexually... but - my ex liked it, a lot, when I had my lip rings in. Guess that could be good. Hmm, prob. explains why we made out for hours haha. I had my snake bite then.Tongue doesn't hurt - It heals quick too. Best part is, if you don't like it, you can easily take it out. You, on the other hand, will have a hard time to eat, so, be careful. Oh - I have my labium inferioris pierced. And other stuff... Why do you want a piercings, may I ask?
-
Well its not totally her, I kinda wanna do something new as well. I just wanna do something sporadic, thats the first thing that came to my mind. I just didnt know if it workedsexually for the ladies is all!
-
Maybe i'm not with today youth but but what the hell would you want to put something in your tongue? When you have to eat there is that thing on your tongue .???
-
Yeah, apparnetly it closes up after like 24 hrs of being out because the tongue heals so quickly...You adapt to eating and speaking with it within 1-2 weeks I heard.

UCLA Department of Medicine: Complications of Body Piercing (Stephen C. Ross, M.D.):In reply to:Piercing of the tongue and lip area has increased in popularity over the last several years. These piercing sites present with their own set of complications and problems. In a study by Boardman and Smith, they found that in 51 patients with tongue piercing thirteen reported damage to the teeth in the form of chipping, four reported gingival injury, eight demonstrated a noticeable increase in salivary flow, and two reported an infection. Price and Lewis found that oral piercing might cause airway obstruction as a result of post-piercing edema of the tongue or aspiration of the device. The tongue devices can interfere with speech and mastication. Infection is at a high risk because of the high concentration of bacteria in the mouth. Other problems have included hypersensitivity to the metals, and incursion of foreign bodies such as food debris into the pierced site. Boardman and Smith found that complications to lip piercing included gum injuries, increased salivary flow, and trauma to the lip area.[Footnote references deleted from quoted section.]According to another research article, from a tongue piercing you have a 10% chance of oral or dental injury.Healing time is normally 3 to 6 weeks.

It funny you bring this up, because my ex-girlfriend wanted me to get one for the same reason even though she hadnt come to the realization that as hot as she was I still wasnt comfortable with having sex with her so early in our relationship. She, like your girlfriend, was curious how it was even though Im pretty sure that she hadnt even made out with a guy who had a tongue ring let alone slept with one (could be wrong about the make out part though.) So really it was more of a curious thing than a..."it really turns me on from past experiences, could you please think about getting one" kind of scenerio. Ill leave you with this though, Ive seen people get them and I think anyone who said it was painless isnt exactly right. I mean its not like getting a penis or clitiros pierced, but just keep in mind what it feels like to bit on your tongue. I know a lot of friends who got them and said that the real pain was afterwards cause their tongue tended to swell slighty and stay that way for about a week. In one extreme case, an aquaitance I once went to school with looked like she had a hill on top of her tongue because it swelled so bad. Besides that, another thing to keep in mind is that a couple of people that Ive known who got them complained that over the course of time at some point of another that they had chipped there teeth from biting down on the ring by accident. Im not talking about big chips or anything like that, but small ones that are aggravating to feel your tongue rub against all day.In conclusion outside of all that, most of the people I know who have gone the route of getting the tongue ring dont say that it really makes that big of a difference and thats its over rated. Ive asked both guys and girls this question, while I do hear a couple of guys saying they love there girlfriends having a tongue ring for when they get head, outside of that I havent heard any girl friends of mine stating that it gives them this unbelieve stimulation. So in sum, I think the majority of time its just a curious thing more than anything. Having made that apparent, do you really still want it now?P.S. I agree with sdp, if its more of her wanting it (especially if its only out of curiousity) and less of it coming from your side, as much as I always think you should keep things interesting and always try to please your parenter in ways the he/she likes, Im going to have to give the no go on getting it. Dont get me wrong though, its always something fun to daydream about when your in an English or History taugh my a professor that does nothing but lectures verbatiously from a textbook that completely sucks as it is (my bad, own personal life is starting to flood in.)

Im all for body modifications, and Im all for getting my woman off I however dont care if it makes her cum in buckets and I need a snorkel to keep from drowning, Im not putting a hole in my damned tongue.Ever bit your tongue? how much worse is it to put something all the way through it ? then add the infections, the damages, that annoying clicking sound when talking, and the slurred speech.Fuck stuffing a bar in my tongue, if my tongue isnt good enough for her, Ill combine it with a vibrator. On the other side, Iv had blow jobs from girls with and with out one in, it didnt make enough difference to really notice. In fact, I hardley noticed it at all.
-
Exactly Grav, like I said, even out of my guys friends that have had a tongue ring blowjob, only but a few of them said it was that much better than a normal bj.
-
Have been with a guy who had one and then was offered a promotion at work but had to loose the tongue piercing. Him going down on me later wasnt much different. Yeah I would say it does make it a bit better but its not worth doing if either of you are unsure about doing it in the first place. The skill is where its at in the first place.Just wanted to add this...just remembered:Best body mod site ever...read about it and then decidehttp://www.bmezine.com/

Good points and all, but you all seem to think it chips your teeth and slurs speech, ect.I know a friend who has one, and has had it for about 2 years, he doesnt talk funny at all, it doesnt clank into his teeth, or has he chipped teeth. He said you get very used to it after 2-3 weeks of it being there.

Dude, there are people who smoke all their lives and don't get lung cancer. They're lucky.According to the study I cited, about 25% of the people surveyed had damage to their teeth caused by their tongue stud. I don't think they were lying. It's a statistical risk, not a certainty. The question is, after considering the risks, is it worth doing? For you, the answer may be yes, but make the decision with your eyes open.I had a weird situation a while back where I got a novacaine injection to have some dental work done. The dentist hit a nerve, and part of my tongue lost touch sensation for a couple of months. It felt pretty wierd, like having novacaine that doesn't wear off. It's a rare complication, but it's can happen. Then it happened again two years later. The dentist couldn't believe it, but there it was. Another couple of months with a partially-numb tongue. It's not likely that whoever is putting in your tongue stud will have studied anatomy, so he's not going to have a good idea where the nerves run (not that they're in precisely the same place among different people anyway). There is a possibility that pushing a stud through the tongue could cause nerve damage, and affect your sense of touch or taste.Infections can also happen, followed by swelling. It can be serious if your back part of your tongue swells too much. That doesn't mean that any of that will happen to you. You should understand the risks, though. If you're hell-bent on doing it, then you need to find someone who knows what he's doing. When my friend wanted to get a naval piercing, I found someone to do it who was a registered nurse in her previous career. That's much simpler than a tongue piercing, but I still think it was well worth the effort to find someone competent. My friend did have some problems with infection, but the person who did the piercing was able to resolve it.

doing anything cuz someone else thinks you should is dumb, you wont be happy with it if that's your reason.Tongue is one of the least painful things to peirce BUT has a much higher risk of compications because thats such an active part of your body. It will take a long time to heal. You can have problems with your teeth if the ball is too big but the main dental problem is wearing away of the tooth enamel by the ball. There are cases where people have been peirced with bars that are too short to alow for swelling where the tougus has swolen and closed up over the bar, meaing it had to be surgically removed.I'm into peircings but personally wouldn't go for a tongue peircing because of the higher risk of infection and complications. I don't think it would make that much difference to oral sex so its not that worth it.
