Well hi im new to the forums and it really helped me alot.First off my name is dan.I really have a few questions and im very scared to ask other people but i feel safe asking them on this forum.First is:I'am a late bloomer or what?Im almost 16 i don't really have hair anywhere else but my Pubic hair. I notice a little hair under my arms and iam short. Only around 5'3. All my friends have out growen me and i just don't feel normal.Penis Problem?im not cut but all my USA friends(i live in canada all my life) are and i haven;t asked any of my Friends in canada cause i don't want to be made fun of. My Foreskin really isn't the problem it's really easy to pull it back but a little part is attached to the head and i cannot pull it down all the way. I have adressed this problem with my mother but i really don't feel good going to see a doctor. I just really need advice. To see the doctor and get this fixed or just leave it.Also:I really haven;t had a girlfriend and ya i know i;m almost 16 and see a live in a small town and everone know eachother. and i was abused when i was small by my dad and almost died a few times. I gotten over myself with that but when i was in Elementary i would always get into fights and cry alot. So i'am kind of know to be one. I really cannot help myself. Like i still cry today but i try not to. i don't see why i would get made fun outta it. Like its not my Fault. Also now i have a job and the Puberty jokes are starting to happen and i really just go right up to the person and tell them i cannot help it and i still get made fun of. I just need some mental Advice i think. So now i shared my life basically and i hope i don't get made fun of here also.and i also get Hard ON's ALOTThanks, Dan

Welcome to AfraidToAsk, Dan!How much hair you have, and how tall you are, depend not only on where you are in puberty, but also in your genes as to where you'll end up. For example, if your male relatives tend to be hairy, you are likely to get hairy earlier in puberty, while if they are relatively less hairy, you are likely to get less hair, and get it later.Do you have other results of puberty - deep voice, growth in genitalia? The fact that you get hard-ons a lot suggests that at least that part of puberty is working well. (They are typical in the teens, but will happen less often as you get older.)I don't know for sure, and it may depend on where in Canada you live, but my impression is that in Canada circumcision is not as nearly universal as in the US. (Even there the circumcision rates are falling.) Your foreskin should be attached to the underside of the head, just below the pee-hole, by a flap of skin called the frenulum. Attachments at other places are called adhesions and happen sometimes, but a doctor should be able to fix them.I'm very sorry your dad abused you. That's terrible. It's not compulsory to have a girlfriend by 16. I was almost 22. It will happen at some time; in the meantime, try to develop your self-confidence and self-reliance.It's very good you are here.

Dan, let me also welcome you to A2A. There are many kind and helpful people here. Ineligible is one. Listen to him; he gives you good advice. You will, however, encounter an occasional problem poster. Just roll with the punches and don't let it bother you.I know that it sucks that all guys don't develop at the same rate. At first the early bloomers get teased for being more developed and then later they tease the late bloomers for not being as developed as they are. From your descriptions it is clear that puberty is under way but just hasn't been completed-- and you wouldn't really expect to be through puberty by 16.Circumcision is something that most guys don't have a choice in. The decision is made by the parents when the boy is an infant (unless it's a religious thing). And again those that have a foreskin tease those that don't and those that don't tease those that do. It's just a guy thing. Don't let it bother you. Either way your penis will work just fine for what it was intended.Girls, like stages of puberty, ofter come later to some guys. There's nothing wrong with that. It's just the way it is.It sounds, too, that with all you've been through, you've got your head screwed on right. Enjoy your teen years and all the exciting changes that will be happening. Please keep in touch.
