Hey everyone. I really didnt know where to put this, redirect me if this is the wrong place. To start off, I'm 16, my girlfriend is 17, we were in her basement. We were making out for alot of the night, there was fingering going on and all that stuff. We stopped for a bit, but then started back up. She started giving me head, and it was good. But after about 2 minutes she comes up, and her jaw is locked open. I was just like, oh sh*t. We didnt know what to do, so she went up to her parents and told them that she just opened her mouth too wide. Her parents called the doctors and they said it was best that she come to the hopstial. So her mom dropped me off at my house and they went to the ER. She told me that she had to get an IV and use laughing gas. But they got it back in place no problem. So my question is, do you think this will be reoccuring, her jaw locking open? Is there anyway that we could unlock it ourselves if it does happen. and has anyone else had a similar experience?thanks.

Lockjaw?

Hi ysm404. I've heard of this happening from yawning. It's not common, but it may be that your girlfriend is unusually susceptible. She may have to be careful in future.
-
Wow, thats gotta hurt. One question. What excuse did you use for her jaw being locked open?
-
As he stated, he said she just opened her mouth up too wide...Haha, I bet they believed that one!
-
haha. I definatly didnt think they'd believe it. But they did. and so did the doctors.
-
Sounds like a TMJ problem. Has she gone to her dentist yet?
-
Doctors don't ask questions when they know the answers; her parents are (wisely) openly denying it, lol.
-
Wow that sucks. Be careful next time or don't make her do it again.

I've had that happen to me. Not from giving head, unfortunately but yawning. My mouth was locked open for like four hours it wasn't fun but wasn't particularly painful either. The oral surgeon, or whatever the f*ck ya call 'em, gave me five vials of Novocaine before he fixed it. He grabbed my jaw pushed it back then pulled it down and pulled it forward setting it back in place. Then it just kinda hung slack for awhile. There was a lot of drool that day.
As for it happening again the doc told me that if it happens once it more than likely will happen again and the more it happens the easier it happens. So, it may very likely occur again. However, if your girl is very self aware she should be an garde about it and should be able to start feeling it slip out and stop doing whatever she's doing, at once, that is making it slip. I can feel when my jaw is about to slip out and catch it so it hasn't locked open ever again and it's been 9 years.

WOW! I have this problem too! My jaw has been going out all the time! I feel it slip then it's sort of locked. Thing is the first time this happened i freaked out and i tryed closing it, so it strained then SNAP it closed back to normal. After this i tryed un-locking it, and i was able to do it. But since then when i wake up i just automatically snap it back into place. I'm not sure if this is good for me but it doesn't hurt but my jaw does sound a little creaky now. I'm not saying that you should suggest this to your GF but for me i either reverse where i moved my jaw to get it locked or snap it.oh and i didn't get my jaw locked from giving heads either.
