So the other day, I was feeling my testicle and I noticed a weird feeling on my right testicle. I felt my left testicle to see if I would find the same feeling, and I didn't. I am 22, turning 23 years old...and this worries me and I have no clue what it can be. On my right testicle, it doesn't feel like a bump but it feels sort of like a vein (kind of like a vein feeling) but I don't think it is a vein because I haven't felt anything like this before and there's no heart beat. I looked in the mirror and when I push that part of my testicle out you can see something in the mirror and you can't really see it too much and it moves around when my testicle moves like it is in a certain area but in the mirror it's not like a bump but you can see something slightly stick out if you push the testicle enough to the top to compress it...I will go to the doctor to get it checked out but I wanted some advice here. This can't be anything sexually transmitted can it? I got tested few months ago I was clean and I did have unprotected sex with one girl but I am pretty sure she was clean but I am going to get tested soon anyways. Isn't there a time period you should wait after the sex before getting tested? Other than that, thanks for the forum and I will post different questions in the future.

Important Question about my Testicles...
-
I doubt it is an STD. It is most likely a varicocele (swollen, varicose veins around the testicle) or a swollen epidydimis (the tubes around the top and back of each testicle that collect the sperm from the testes).A visit to the doctor is a good idea, as only he/she can make a proper diagnosis after evaluating you.

What impact do any of these result in or can result in ? THanks.

anyone else can help me?

Well your post is a little misleading, you said it is really noticable and then you say you can see it sticking out...It's not an STD because an STD would most likely show outside blistering/ sores whatever it is the symptoms are....If you do have an STD it has nothing to do with the bump.... most likely anyways.

any other help would be appreciated.

Sorry dude,
I don't know what to tell you... If it's not causing you any pain and it's not a lump, then I would say leave it alone. You said when you push on your testicle in the mirror you can see something. You didnt say what, so Im going to go out on a limb here and guess its the reflection of the testicle your pushing on that youre seeing.Sorry. most of us will only offer advice or suggestions to things we understand and have knowledge about. If you think it warrants going to the doctor, than schedule something with the GP and have your testicles looked at. Better safe than sorry... Right?
Good luck and let us know what they say...
