basically, i put on a lot of weight i figured out that i put on 9stone in 6 years, eek, and now i want to lose it, i currently weight 16.5 st and i am looking at loosing 2/3 st by june, i have just started going on a 1000 calorie a day diet and am sticking to it as close as possible, i havnt really done n e exersize in a few years due to many reasons, and i am just wondering what are the best exersizes i can do to lose the weight, i have a sit up bench and some weights but i dont know how much i should be doing so i dont injure myself or cause to much of a shock to the system, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Oh, and to the guy who wants to shift some weight you can't really do better than running to burn fat and increase fitness. The odd sit up or two would probably be appreciated as well.

so you weigh, about 230 pounds, and want to lose about ten?
Just cutting out a few calories will help. Getting out and walking will help alot too. Ten pounds isn't alot.
