Need some cellphone help
-
Bad phone or battery.. take it back
-
ok is there any way to tell which? and if there is and it is the battery would it just be cheaper to replace it the battery or the entire thing?
-
I would take it back and them look at it.
-
If it's brand new, it's under warrenty. Don't even bother trying to figure it out.
-
audiovox isnt the best brand for a phone anyway. not to sound rude there. when i went to get my cellphone, i was looking at an audiovox one and they said for me not to get it. lol. the people that work with the phone company told me that. see if you can get it fixed and if not, get a different one
-
well its not brand new, got it on Ebay so, i was just wondering if there was anything i could do, theyre supposed to be replacing the phones (verizon family plan) sometime in april i believe but could it progress into something worse or?
-
That doesn't sound good. It sounds like they sent you a defective phone. On the other hand, I almost never even turn off my phone. I just stick it on the charger every night. (If you get on a plane, you can just pull out the battery before boarding.)
-
yup oh well I suppose, well if it sticks to not staying off than i can easily wait till they replace the phones, but can it progress into say, severely shortened battery time something like that? if so i can just wait to get a new phone til my birthday 25 days from now
-
Sounds like the best option there hey!
-
can it progress into say, severely shortened battery time something like that? It doesn't sound like there's anything wrong with the battery; it sounds like there's just a defect in the phone that keeps it from going off. As long as there's life in the battery, cell phones never turn off entirely, or you couldn't push a button on the dialing pad to wake them up.Your phone should be OK. You may not even have to charge it every day, depending on how much you use it. Sometimes I let my phone go for two days without a charge. But it's less of a demand on my brain to just stick it on the charger every night.

ooh ok i can wait till we get new phones than, otherwise i dont use it much, a few close friends and emergencies, if it were ringing non-stop id throw it at the wall, though that isnt fair the wall never did anything to me...
-
oh and thanks all almost forgot that
