i know you cant have your period in the traditional sence when ur pregnant....but iv heard that some girls bleed every month pretty much like a period when they are pregnant. so i wasnt sure if this is true cuz that would be pretty scary, if you could still bleed like that when ur pregnant, i mean it would be hard 4 ppl to tell if they were pregnant or not. and if it is possible...could you still bleed heavyly like a period or would it just be spoting...adn would it be a sign of an unheathy pregnancy...or is it truly possible to bleed like ur on ur period durring a healthy pregnancy....i would really apreseate responces, cuz this is kinda scareing me. thank you

Can you have your period when you are pregnant?

Bleeding when pregnant is highly unlikely and unusual. If you are having your period, it is highlydoubful that you are pregnant.
-
Nope... You can't have your period if your pregnant. Other vaginal bleeding is a sure sign that there is something wrong...

I just wanted to add a comment. Although it may not be an actual period when you are pregnant, it is sometimes difficult to tell if it is a period. For example, I had a "period" the first two months I was pregnant with my second child. It looked like a period, and felt like a period....I had no clue I was pregnant. Very different from my first experience. In fact, it was not until after my second "period" when I starting to get morning sickness that I even suspected being pregnant. In general though, I agree with sdp, it is not a common occurance when you are pregnant.
