State your opinion.and... 4 u parents wut made u name ur kids wut u named them? like was it becuz of the meaning of the name, person, or did you just like it?

Does your name symbolize you
-
ahah Mine apparently means crowned one!
-
So does mine. Maybe we're the same person or something.

My parents tried coming up with a name that no one in my family had. So I had my nickname from almost the moment my parents knew I was coming. Then they finally found my name. Not for meaning, but for the uniqueness in the family. Then as for my kids. Sorta the same. With my oldest, her dad wouldn't let me name her after anyone...but I slipped in the middle name..hehehe.My second, her dad just agreed to the name. He thought it was pretty.Though her (second kid) dad, also named one of his older kids after his first piece....Sick S.O.B.
-
mine doesn't suit me at all believe me loland i named my kids cos i loved the names simple as that, can't be doing with all that looking at baby name books etc LOL they all have middle names too cos i liked those, well except the eldests is after his dad who's a dickhead but apart from that they have nice names.......

My name, Caleb. ( pronounced KAY-leb ) < yea.. sometimes people get the ending wrong. .oh well >
Caleb means.... Well in Hebrew it means faithful, loyal & courageous. Some versions of the name meaning things said Bold. Yea I'm that.... Courageous / bold to a extent.. It also means dog (English)...well I'm not a dog. Funny tho my dog's name is Bold. LMAO
I can't do anything about it. It's just my name. lol anyway my mom has told me she got my name from the Bible.. So I looked it up. lol Caleb was one of the twelve spies. Joshua and Caleb were the only two that stayed loyal to God. Ok so I guess that's how it got it's meaning of faithful. The Christian meaning of Caleb it's devoted one, whole-hearted.some weeks or so ago i was talking to a girl (sorry woman) and we were talking about dogs. puppies actually. and she was telling me about this pup that was loyal and friendly to people he knew but shy to strangers. then she laughed and said. like u. I really didn't know wut to say. but it was kinda funny..... maybe that's y i'm named a name that means a dog. LMAO!!
Yea my parents picked my name. my middle name is the last name of my moms friend that died b4 I was born. And I hate my middle name. Beauregard ... it is French, means beautiful gaze. I'd rather her have named me Caleb beau than Beauregard. But yea I can't really do nothing about my middle name.
I already told u about my first name. My last name is just handed down... my dad's last name and he got from his dad.. so on. We know how last names work. lol and my last name is very common. Like 4 pages of a phone book common. LMAO.. It's a old English name, It means > blacksmith.I am kinda amazed that my names that my parents gave me fit me.(in ways) it's kinda wired. I am loyal, but not bold (unless it's got to do with a dirt bike or horse then I am lMAO), My gf and past gf's, think I am good to look at.... {I'll be coincident here lol other girls/women have said too} and as for my last name...a blacksmith is a Farrier..... We have a farm so LMAO it kinda fits! it's so wired!!
Ryan and Sara's......(cuz i'm bored lol)
My brother's name means king. LMAO he only thinks he is one. lol
Sara's name means princess. Sara's name thng said it's also the variation of sarah. And Sarah was Abraham's wife. She is described as being exceptionally beautiful even into her older years. -
u and pink name's are the same cuz her name is the Feminine form of Stephen. and i'm just guessign that steve is short for Stephen. lol i can be wrong.
-
You are correct, except my parents chose the "v" option. Seems more modern, I guess.
As far as I've been able to tell through casual research, my last name has no meaning at all. I guess my middle name is kind of French/American, although there are no French people in my family.
-
Steve, your last name means something, though it's an indefinite article; while your middle name could underline anything.
-
I was also born about as far away from Christmas as possible. By the way, my middle name is Satan, not "_".My last name (when the extra letters are added) is not Latinate, but it works in English, German, and many different Latin-rooted languages (although not Italian), where it has the same meaning...yet I still always need to spell it.
-
I heard my name was Jewish.. I'm not really sure what it means. My dad and my pastor whom I've known all my life and is like a second father to me helped name me so... I think they got it from the Book lol. Actually I'm pretty sure they did. I wanted a more family heritage name like my cousins. Their names are more Brazilian. I have a Brazilian middle name... how can you have a Jewish first name and a Brazilian middle name... people man
-
There are Jews in Brazil, and lots of Jews in Argentina.
-
Knee Guard? People who speak Latin-based languages just don't get that "i" and "y" are supposed to be pronounced like "eye" (or aï, if you're French).
-
My first name is Kristal, which has an obvious meaning. Glass, clear, etc.My last name mean that my ancestors must have been fans of the male penis
-
if you want to go thereGo there? I've been there. People call me Steeeeevuh, and really do add an extra "e" when writing it. My middle name works well there, though. You'd think my last name would, since it's an ordinary word, but I guess it's uncommon as a name (kind of like if you were called Natasha Television.)
-
My male penis is neither clear nor glass. It's kind of off-white and, you know, non-glassy.
-
I meant my last name.
-
If I ever have kids, I'm going to make a point of finding an interesting name that doesn't have crazy spelling. My mom was in charge of naming, and she deemed that names must be short and simple.Kristal> I meant my last name.Oooh. Remember the singer Dido? I wonder what her parents were thinking.
-
It has no meaning. I have the worse name - Outrageously gross. Worse than those African names with all the "!". Quite funny. Don't forget, English and German are romance languages!
-
Don't forget, English and German are romance languages!Yes, and we're all brothers and sisters. Indo-European brothers and sisters.
