After many months of anxious searching on the internet I have tracked down a 'problem' that I have, that being my sebaceous glands are very much visible.I am starting to become more sexually active and the glands are really starting to worry me because they are quite large and all over my penis not in just one spot and it feels quite horrible to run your finger down and it also doesn't look very attractive so I was wondering if there has been anyone with this problem and has made them go down at all because I know you cannot make them dissappear.. or maybe you can I don't know, please let me know.. Thanks

Sebaceous glands

All guys have these glands in their skin. Some are more visible than others. However, there is nothing you can do about it.
-
The sebaceous glands get bigger because of the rapid increase in hormone levels at puberty. You will find they gradually get smaller again in middle age, though that's a long time off, I agree. It's quite normal for them to be very much visible and raised.

Right so there isn't anything that brings them down at all?
Now I understand about them more now but I just wanna make sure that there is no way for them to open up on a partner anywhere due to oral sex

The purpose of sebaceous glands is to keep the skin moisturised. They secrete a thick whitish greasy stuff called sebum that is the skin's natural moisturiser.Mostly they sit at the bottom of hair follicles and are not visible, but on the genitalia the skin is thinner and they are much more noticeable. They don't normally open up more than they usually do. They can become infected, in which case they become pimples - ordinary zits are infected sebaceous glands.

They can become infected,......and/or blocked...> ...in which case they become pimples

If they get blocked and stop functioning they become whiteheads; if they get blocked but keep on functioning they become sebaceous cysts.
