I've run into a weird issue in Windows. When I started up my computer today, the taskbar would not show open windows because the 'language bar' was covering that area. So I tried closing the language bar, and then the whole taskbar completely hid itself, and stayed that way until I opened up another toolbar inside it. The weirdest part of this is that I've run into this issue in all the computers at home that run Windows XP, and for some reason it affects only specific user accounts. On others the taskbar behaves like normal. Has anyone ever ran into this problem before?

Quote:It sounds like a sizing issue. And I was always told that size doesn't matter...

Well thats the thing. It appears to be stuck where it is, adjacent to the start button, and because of it, preventing me from seeing the list of open windows. And also, I noticed that it does this with all toolbars...if more than one is open, i can move it freely along the taskbar, and if i move it all the way to the left, it swaps places with the toolbar already there and then gets stuck there, and the other one becomes freely movable. Weird...

Aha. Found a script file on google that fixed it. It was a messed up registry key
