Technically, I am still a married woman..lolMine has taken...lets see..since January 2003? Keep having to go back over other shit, and the judge keeps crossing out the disso on the judgments..even though it was ordered, 2 years ago November. As far as HIS ex goes...she can't afford to feed herself let alone hire an atty. Glad I went to school for this shit. Here in Cali, there is really only one hearing to finalize it, but my case shows that sometimes it isn't always that simple. I doubt that she will even respond, then, he takes her default, and it's all over. What is cute, is she doesn't know how well versed I am in California Family Law. I got him set up to do the kid stuff, before mediation (for the visitation schedule) occurs, and a few other things that I know the court requires, and she is walking blind. The the court facilitator doesn't give info out either, and they are where she has to go for legal advice. So, I am over taping sheet rock, and cursing like a madwoman! lol

Wow, this is REALLY old. But it pertains to the same sort of thing. We are still looking for a house we can afford. We wanted that other one, but it was rented before we could do it. This living apart thing is getting tough on both of us. I live 30 miles from him, and a real town..lol Feul is being eaten up by us commuting every day to one or the others house. ANYWAY, were still on board to move in. I still have no complaints about the guy. Pretty good for me, I usually find SOMETHING wrong with people within the first month or two of knowing them.I am still having issues with his ex though. He kicked her out, he doesn't give $, nor ever has anything nice to say about or to her. BUT when she calls, or comes over to pick up the boy, I get all sick to my tummy. The other day she called him, to tell him that she has been thinking a lot about him, and how she realizes what she gave up. Wanted to know how me and him were doing. He told her we were great, and shut her down. Why do I get so sick about her? I don't understand. I know HE isn't interested, but what if she caught him at a moment where we weren't doing so great? I hate this jealousy thing. Anyone? Tips for dealing with this still new and weird emotion for me?I never see her or I would confront her...Do I just stuff it, and keep it to myself, or do I voice my feelings to him and hear how I have nothing to worry about..???

Please stop bringing up dead threads. lolJust reading your post makes me want to punch this girl in the face. (you know me)Honestly hun, this guy sounds like he is totally into you. He got rid of her and has plans to live with you....I don't think he is going anywhere. Once you two finally move in together, I think she will get the hint and realize he ain't coming back.

OH I want to punch her! I just never see her! I know he is into me. (Giggle, On a regular basis even!) but, her, I wanna smack the shit outta her! I get worried I guess, that I am SOOOO different than she is, and he will wanna go back to that comfort zone I guess....Jenn, insecure, where the hell did that come from??????
He is still hiding the fact that I am the one who fills out all the court paper work. I got that to finagle around...muah hahaha!
But, I can't stand her calling him. She knows when I am not around...don't know if she drives by his house or what, but GRRRR!!I can't really go confronting her, mostly because, she is a "mother" and through the court, she COULD make his life a real living hell...
Hope your right that she gets the hint. She didn't get it when I moved in my CA king bed, with all the "prettiness" to his apartment. I LOVE my big playground!

No, not really. I just stay with him half the time. Where I live is SO beautiful....and there is a LOT of open space. I couldn't live in the apartment complex, I would go NUTS!! My big bed wouldn't fit in here. Nor would it fit into a smaller storage, so, we put it at his place. What fun...the headboard is GREAT for sticking toes in, and the mirror...and the fact that the bed itself is waist high...um...yeah...wonderful playground! So, no, not out of the little place yet, but into a bigger bed! Woo hoo!
