Well I decided to try to lose weight, and this week I've been using an exercise bike in my home. It's a pretty good bike, and it has an 8 minute hill/interval session. I do two back to back 24 minute sessions for a total of a 48 minute workout. Should I be doing more? Anyway, according to my math I am burning 550 calories per workout. This seems kinda low, but I'm not that knowledgeable about calories. Is 550 a solid number? Or should I be grinding out longer, tougher, sessions? My 2nd question is about diet. I've been eating healthy, but after a workout I become VERY hungry. For example, last night for dinner I had a piece of chicken, steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. Is this too much? Also, the night previous to this I had 3 PB&J sandwiches and a bowl of soup. So, although I've been eating healthy food, am I eating too much (thus, making my workout pointless)? Is there anyway to cope with this?

hi. last year i had blood taken and it turned out i had high cholesterol, which was a shock to me and my family because we lways thought i was healthy. anyways, i had to cut back on pretty much everything. even though you eat healthy and wrok out, eating more than the recommended serving size isnt good. peanut butter is high in fat i think so stay away from that too. when you buy food at the market, try getting reduced fat/reduced sodium foods. when u still feel hungry after eating the recommended serving size, its probably because before, you ate however much you wanted and you got used to it, but now that you've tried to cut down, your body just wants more and more. theres really no way to stop it, you just kind of have to deal with feeling hungry untill you re adjust to eating smaller portions hope this helps. oh also, i think theres like 3000 caloried in a pound
