i'm having some issues with my teeth lately which has kind of put me on serious high alert about it's condition. I have 2 issues with my teeth. 1) Odd CracksI remember clearly what my dentist had mentioned to me about the origins of these cracks. [though i havn't been able to see him after they apeared. They first apeared as a very very light tan and crossed like a line from one end of the tooth to the other. He Said He didn't know what the "Milky" color was. And infact my last examination was described as ok. No Crooked Teeth, no catities. [i dont brush often unfortuantly, though now i'm starting to brush 2-3 times a day]. Anyways, i was always concerned about the "Milky Stuff", and often found myself picking at it with everything from my finger nails to picks and sizor tips, eventually the milky stuff disapeared, and what reapeared was a large gap on one of my frontal teeth. it goes from one end of the tooth to the other, and about half way in. [which i'm upset about] There is NO sign of black areas or silver areas around that tooth, so i'm unsure if it's a cavity. 2) Sensitive area of the mouthThere's a small section of Gum area in my mouth around the top area of the sharper of my teeth that is sensitive, not all the time though. I have an annoying habit of purpously making that area of my gums bleed by vigorously flossing. When i'm less torcherous i dont feel any pain, so is this gingavitis or is it me?

[which i'm upset about] Sure sounds like a cavity to me. I believe portions of the enamel can be weaker and softer than the rest. Perhaps you gouged out the softer enamel. Tsk tsk.. You need to see your dentist again. If you don't floss regualrly, plaque and bits of food and bacteria can cause an inflammation of the gums. When you floss, you are cleaning it out but also causing it to bleed. If you flossed regularly, you would get the inflammation. But please be a little more gentle. You can damage the gum too.
