Whenever I run long distances ( 2 miles ish) after about 1.5 miles I start to get cold. I get goosebumps and sometimes start feel like shivering. I always thought this was cool ( sweet pun). While running today I realized there might be something wrong with me. I get hot for the first part of running but when I am starting to get really tired I get cold. I still sweat but I get goosebumps and will sometimes shiver even when its 80 degrees out.. I have been like this as long as I can remember. Are there any medical issues I should look out for?THanks

Running, getting cold?

hmm..maybe where your sweating so much, the body is cooling itself off.

LOL. Possibly, I was wondering, but do not know, if it could be akin to heat stroke. Which can cause a cooled shivering feeling when it is hot.IDK. Sounds like something that the OP should take up with a doctor.

I'm a runner myself, jog a few miles a day and I cannot say I have ever experienced anything like this before.OP, I'd suggest if nothing else to call your doctors office and explains whats happening. Could be nothing at all but not worth taking the chance.
