I agree whole heartily Chance.Sad part is the people they are protesting against are dead, all these people are hurting are the family members and friends who are there to grieve. Why do these people deserve to be hurt anymore??

Heath Ledger

I agree with Eddie, those people are retarded and heartless but don't group them in the same category as all Christians. I'm not looking at his death as payback for being in a movie. I see it as a young man who left a child behind and family. People can be so heartless and cold.

Lol Gather round kiddies, "Story time". Me and my ex, our first date ended up in front of my church. It was the only vacant lot I could think of. Rounded first, second and third base in front of the "He is Risen" cross we have out there in front. eh heh. Fun night.

It's stupid that that particular group of Christians hates gay people... What a damn waste of time. If they put that much energy into, I don't know, helping people in 3rd world countries, being anti-gangs, being anti ANYTHING that actually harms people... But they have no right to judge anyone anyways, so really, by all accounts, they should just fuck off.

I was shocked and saddened when I heard the news. He was s young, and such a talented actor. R.I.P Heath.

Churches are man-made organizations...don't necessarily have anything to do with being Christian. Most folks don't understand that.

Hi Grvtykllr!!**I hope you're OK. **
What 'thor' said above is the absolute TRUTH.
I am a Christian. I believe very much in God and believe that Jesus was and IS the Son of God. [Or more specifically - God who became man] That said - the members of the 'Westboro Baptist Church' [The 'Church' behind all of those graveyard protests] are NOT 'Christians'. And I can say that because the Bible tells me that I may know someone, "... by their fruits." In other words - I can know a person [OR group of people] by what they DO. And IF what that person [Or group of people] are DOING is NOT in keeping with the word of God - then I have the RIGHT to question whether or not they really are Christians. And as I see it - the members of the 'Westboro Baptist Church' have proven over and over again that they are NOT Christians. They are NOT following Christ. [Which - by definition - is what a Christian is]
That said...
The damage the 'Westboro Baptist Church' [Keep in mind that any group of people can start a 'church] goes far beyond what we see in the news. As disgusting as those graveyard protests are - the REAL damage can't be so easily seen. And that is the damage the 'Westboro Baptist Church' [And other 'churches' like them] have done [And continue to do] insofar as keeping people from wanting God in their lives. And the reason many people have little to no interest in having God in their lives is because they have bought into the LIE that if a person claims to be a 'Christian' - then everything they say and do MUST BE APPROVED OF BY GOD!! That - my friend - is a LIE. The bible tells us that God is LOVE. Do you see ANY LOVE coming from the members of the 'Westboro Baptist Church'? I certainly don't.
So please. Out of respect to those who really ARE trying to follow Jesus - don't brush them [Or ME - for that matter] with the same brush you are [rightfully] using on the 'Westboro Baptist Church'.
GREAT BIG HUG
Craig!! -
Sorry Craig this isn't directly pointed at you or anyone else. I just wanted to throw my two cents in here:I had just got home from work when I heard about it. My dad is the one who told me. He asked me why I was so upset. I told him, "for several reasons." I grew up with Heath's movies and have seen almost every one of them (even some foreign ones;) ). Plus he was only a few years older than myself and my friends. It kinda brings my own mortality to light. But mostly what bothers me is that everyone talks about how great an actor he was but you hear nothing about the man behind the acting. I have read hundreds of stories that have been broght to light by everyday, ordinary people talking about the man. He was down right humble, pleasant, sincere, and compassionate. One story that I will never forget was a story someone had told about how Heath actually pulled over and helped someone jack his car up and then he actually changed the guy's flat tire. There's probably even more people who remember him for things like this rather than the fact that he was an actor who had talent. But these stories are forgotten and replaced with his acting or any ghosts that he may have had in his closet. It's outright disappointing that someone with so much humanity as it would seem is taken so early while other people like Britney Spears flaunt their temper tantrums in front of camera's for the whole world to see.Let me reiterate I am not angry. I am just deeply saddened that the world loves gossip and trash so much that they take the death of a human being and start the rumor mill turning. I have not paid anymore attention to the story or what has been said. I have labeled it an accident and that's exactly where it will lie for me. It's truly disheartening to learn of his death and while I didn't know him, I mourn his passing for I believe the world lost one of the few truly good and decent people we have left out there.

Thats a shitty thing to say with no proof, or even any speculation from the part of investigators that it may be a possability.if he was in rehab for it I never heard about it, then again I dont follow along in clebrity gossip so I have no reason to doubt its true, but just because he had been to rehab doesnt mean he relapsed and had an OD.at one time I fucked with every drug known to man looking for the next best thing. I THINK the only drugs I never played with are meth and methadone. In january of 1990 I quit, no rehab no nothing I jsut quite and I suffered alone and on my own and never touched most of it again. It can be done, some shit tok a few more times down teh road to relearn my lesson. Acid specifically I got into a second time in the mid 90's and a single time more in 2000. The only thing I play with these days, and really never did stop doing is having a roll in the hay with mary jane.Everything else I can honestly say I stopped, never looked back adn dont even think about it today. The point?well fuck I got sidetracked, but the point is that just because someone has a history of drug abuse doesnt mean they cant stop and never go back, yuor speculation of him overdosing on it is shit, no proof, no toxicology reports, no information from investigators saying tha tmybe...Just a personal opinion thats not worth shit, not to mention it makes yuo look like an asshole.

I was reading an article about Heath yesterday that said he might have died of natural causes. Reports at the time of the article said the toxins in his system were too low to be lethal, and he may have died of:Heart Attack.A slightly more becoming death of a great actor
