Hi I am going to tell a long story in hopes somebody can offer me some advice. I have been Depressed for a long time. Everything I want that I do get I regret. I do not think anything can make me happy. But the situation I am going to write about is a problem with a new job. I worked for a company for many years. I recently applied for another postition and actually got it. It was in my mind my dream job. My problem is this guy whom I will call Bill. First off Bill liked me and helped me get this postition. However what gets to me so bad is the fact that Bill comes in to my main store "we are assigned different stores to service" He will act like he is the boss which he is in no way a boss. Well this just gets under my skin SO bad! I have another guy whom I work with and get along with great. He always tells me to just blow off what Bill says. Well I cannot and it really gets to me so far to the point of me wanting to quit and this is the best paying position I have ever had. It is enough to make a living off of. What can I do to stop this from him? BTW My co-worker talked to him and told him to quit telling us what to do and he stopped for a while then he continued doing it again.

How Can I Stop This

Hi whyah, welcome to AfraidToAsk!I think the job situation is related to the depression. If you were less depressed you would find it easier to ignore Bill, and indeed to tell him off - nicely but firmly - when he tries to act above his position. But even with depression you can do that. Usually if you stand up and make it clear you won't accept that treatment it will stop. Are you getting any treatment for the depression?
