Hmm I am hoping this post goes here.. if not move it I guess xD.Anyway.. lately I have come to understand that you are a virgin as a male until you penetrate a female vaginally. And vice versa as a female.. your a virgin till your penetrated..So.. I guess.. my question is.. do you think that this is a fair assumption? or do you think its just a loophole.... I personally am kinda disgusted that people want to claim they are "virgins" yet, they have no issues engaging in oral.. I mean.. I can't deny that "technically" your a virgin.. but, if I talk a depressed person into killing themself.. even if I didn't pull the trigger.. I'm still responsible...And aside from avoiding pregnancy.. why even bother to remain "technically" a virgin if most people are remaining virgins for moral reasons. what are your thoughts? I mean.. I have personally come to feel that if you want to remain a virgin.. and really do it morally for w/e reason.. then you shouldn't be looking for these loopholes in the first place...So do you feel you could morally have sex and remain a virgin?

Oral and virgnity

It is a technicality that people use. But, what ever makes someone happy. If that to them, is better, then that's cool. You can't define morality, just like you can't define what does or doesn't lose ones virginity.

The universal definition of a virgin is someone who hasn't engaged in sexual intercourse. So, I personally wouldn't call it an "assumption". But because we live in a world with different ideas and beliefs, there may be some people out there who feel different. Therefore, I wouldn't call it a "loophole" either. It depends on who you ask.Originally Posted By: Nny

To me, anything sexual is a very deep and personal issue. I saved my virginity until I was 20. I also didn't do anything sexual with anyone before, like oral, because if I were going to do something that intimate with another person, he needed to be the right one.So, when I met my current boyfriend and after some time knowing each other, I knew he was the one. But I wasn't ready to jump into bed with him just yet. Therefore, we did oral in the beginning of our relationship. Why? Because I felt comfortable with him. He never pressured me in doing anything and he respected the fact that I wanted to wait for sex until the right moment.
Feel free to be disgusted by me.

Wait, what? Are you saying that people who are virgins but are having oral and whatnot aren't moral? What is your definition of "moral"?Originally Posted By: Nny

Have sex and remain a virgin...contradictions are so confusing. -
It's just a word, take it as it means.

Morality is to fluid a concept to be a yard stick to measure everybody's minutia of difference in decisions against. Morals may make a good guide post but ultimately the individual is the one that must live with the decision they have made and so it is only theirs to make and of only their concern.

I've given oral, never recieved and I fully consider myself to be a virgin. Trust me, I'd rather not be, but I suppose at least it gives me a goal to work towards...if I can get past my current inability to be interested in girls.
