I don't like it.. I think it makes each post take up more of the screen now..
Does anyone else get a bunch of text superimposed on teh screen when you pass your mouse over a name in the "Who's Online" screen?
What about the doubled button/link for reply, edit etc... Does anyone else get that?
mine will always be offline........ my mood is dead. (the offline smilie)
i dk.. it's kinda cool. but how many people are acually really going to be wut the smilie says?....lol
My double button is gone now,
but I didn't get it either.
It actually kind of bothered me.
that thing is at the top left of my screen always,
It was there before the change
does anyone else have that?

You can change it in the top right corner next to Log Out
IDK.. I still have an edit button and then an edit link to the right of it, reply button, reply link, etc...
Me too, the double link is there for me. It would be nice if you had the option to turn off the mood and the online/offline status. If I want to know if someone is online, I'll just look at the screen on the left. The most annoying part of it is that about 99% of active members are offline at any one time, so you just have lots and lots of Offline statuses staring at you.
I checked. There is no option that I could see.
Also many regulars remain hidden, hence offline... Ineligible and I can see them when they are here, but no one else can.
Yeah, I usually have my setting set to hidden but I changed it earlier today. Of course I didn't realise that everyone would be able to see me so obviously, I'll probably change it back.
I have those double links too, but I don't get anything on mouse-overing the Who's Online.
Edit: Yes I do, but only on the "details" page. Since the text that comes up, though difficult to read, includes poster's operating system and referrer page etc, I hope not everyone gets it.
That appears to be just a Mod/Admin feature.
Mmmm... I don't think the IP's are showing, at least not for me.. The standard IP display is there but not as a part of the overlayed text.
I just realised that and edited it out. There's a different IP, whose meaning I don't know.
I logged in as an old user and checked it out. Apparently only you and I see it (Mods..idk).. but it shows the browser, OS and other apps that the person is using.
Interestingly, I'm no longer seeing the Edit, Reply, etc buttons; only the links.
Same here... Strange.
Here are the new features...
The Who's Online screen will now designate which guest users are search engine spiders, as well as showing the referer (which is how a guest got to your site).
Custom User Titles, as well as a control panel option to designate which groups of users can change their custom title.
Better performance by changing 2 of the tables to a HEAP table, so they reside in memory instead of being written to disk.
Option to have multiple language with the user being able to choose what language they want to use for their default display.
Option to show the total # of new topics and replies on the main page and when browing an individual forum.
User selectable "moods" so users can designate their current mood while online.
Online Status indicators next to each user's posts, that shows if they are currently online/offline as well as their current mood.
Sort order options at the bottom of each forum to designate how a forum is sorted.
When moving a post, there is now an option to leave a pointer to the new post that will expire after a certain number of days.
Admin option to ban users for a certain period of time, ranging from 1 day to 2 years, as well as the standard permanent ban.
New CAPTCHA feature that can be used for new registrations as well as guest posting. Note: You will need either ImageMagick 6 or GD2 with TrueType support in order to use this feature.
Those buttons like "Reply,Quote,Edit" and such are double link.
It shows the button and also the hyper-linked text.
Uhhh yeah I know.
I don't like it.. if people have chosen to not be displayed in the online/offline screen, why should they be forced to appear online/offline in their posts?
It looks like if they make themselves invisible, they show as offline all the time.
