Ok I've been on Ortho Tricyclen Lo for about 10 or 11 months? Anyways it wasn't agreeing with me, so I went back to the health clinic on Tuesday (July 3rd) to get my BC pill changed. Anyways my last pack of Ortho Tricyclen Lo ended on Tuesday (the last inactive pill was Monday. You start the new pack Tuesday). Anyways I went ahead and started a new pack on Tuesday morning and took one pill, just in case I didn't get my new BC right away etc. I ended up getting the pill called "Apri" Tuesday afternoon and the nurse said I could start taking it Wednesday morning and I'd be protected instantly because there was no break from the BC.So that's what I did, Wednesday July 4th I started my new BC Apri, the second pill in the pack (the nurse said to start on day two pill). I had unprotected sex last night (July 5th), so my question is, am I really protected? Or should I take the morning after pill? Thanks in advance for any advice etc.

Am I still proctected (BC question)?

Wow that's confusing >.< I'd say you are covered somce wednesday you started the new, and you took your day two pill which would have covered the fifth, so you should be fine... (if I read all that right)

I'm sorry! I tried to make it as un-confusing as possible, guess it didn't work! Basically it went like Tuesday morning - First pill of Ortho Tricyclen Lo in new pack (since my last day of inactive pills were Monday)Wednesday morning - since I got new BC I took the "Apri" (2nd pill in pack as recommended by Nurse)Thursday morning - "Apri" pill againThen Friday (this morning) - "Apri" pill So I just kinda needed to know if I should take the Morning After Pill. Since I haven't even been on "Apri" for a week and I didn't start directly after my last pack of Ortho Tricyclen Lo ended (I would have had to take it on Tuesday).
