PLEASE READ!!!!hey guys..i had sex with my girlfriend, well i wouldn't call it sex, it was 2-3 wks ago unprotected..but it was like a in and out 3-4 times....did not cum. and then last week we had sex with a condom on, condom did not rip, everything was fine...we were talking on the phone today..n she told me her period is 4 days late....i know stress is a big role in period causing it to be late..and she just attended summerschoool which is killing her..reading 2 novels at the same time...essays and everything has to be finished in a month...she's always spazzing cuz she so pissed aobut the work load and everything...i'm not trying to take stress as an excuse but Heres my first qustion:i would like to know how long is a late period considered late? dunno if u understand but i mean how late is it considered to be unreasonable? i hope you get me? like 2 weeks late should mean ur pregnant? or 1 week late is already considered pregnant or anything?and my second questoin is:i no u can spott during pregnancy...how long does spotting usually last? is it just like a period? or just a day of blood and it goes away and comes back time to time? thanks....sorry for the long post

Few quick questions

It sounds like it probably is stress. It depends on how regular the period is, but generally it's time to get a pregnancy test if the period is more than a week late. It still might be nothing, but by that time you are getting so nervous that the cost of a test to relieve your nerves is worthwhile.

I think it's over a week, but I'm not sure. I remember my period being three days late because I was so stressed out from work and school (it was finals week...oi).Originally Posted By: unknown813

That I'm not sure either (never been pregnant). But is you do some searching here, you'll probably find your answer.
