I received unprotected oral sex from a woman that has most likely done it a lot, as it turned out that she was an ex-hooker. I freaked out after hearing this and went to a clinic 3 days after. Had no STDs at this point. Development since:+3-6 days; red scrotum, itch in genitals, a bit yellowish glans+7-15 days; pain in urehtha, itch in genitals, reddish skin, no discharge, no lesions or sores of any kind+17 days; chlamydia+gonorrhea+hiv p24 antigen tests negative, doctor says that everything looks normal, and that does not look like herpes+ 4 weeks; one pimple looking sore on inner thigh, painful and burning one, goes away in a day or so. every day at least itch and most of the time this clear but controllable pain in uretha. peeing does not hurt.+45 days; complete tests again, including syphilis and herpes this time and the ones mentioned earlier, all negative again. still itch in groin area and sometimes in my arms and thighs as well, numbness and mild pain in urehta. doctor gives a 10d prescription of two different antibiotics. + 2 months; took antibiotics without any result, still itch and pain in uretha. no clear signs of anything unusual. What could this be? I have spend over 1000 dollars for doctor appointments without getting any useful information so far. Could herpes outbreak last this long? It may well not show in a blood test yet, or it may be a false negative, but since I have not had clear herpes lesions, but only very red and sore skin - I doubt that the outbreak would last this long. Any information regarding possible solution would be great. This is really getting on my nerves.

Herpes or something else? :(

Seems like you've done all there is to do, good job going to the doc. The trouble is, if a doc can't tell you what it is while he's face 2 face with your scrotum, None of us will be able to diagnose you either. I was about to say syphilis, but then I thought the doc would have dignosed that already. So welcome to the boeards, and good luck finding the source of your redness/itchiness.

Thanks for your comments. I went to see another doctor to get a third opinion, and she said that she doubts it is herpes. No further testes were done at this point, but only a visual inspection. That time it did look quite alright, but at the moment, and especially after masturbating my foreskin is sore and red. Looks terribly similar than this image of herpes outbreak http://www.ak101.com/dermnet/dn2/allJPG/herpes_type_2_primary_38.jpg - except for that I do not have clear lesions or cuts, skin just looks shiny and red, and feels irritated.I have studied about psychosomatic aspect and see that this is not the case here. Two months has passed already and haven't had a day without symptoms yet. And although even experts can't tell what it is, there are some symptoms that can be seen also. I will take a new sets of tests, most importantly herpes after 3 months.
