Does anyone think that having a high sex drive in your twenties might be stereotype? It's true that men and women over fifty still have a sex life despite the sterotype that they just stop having sex after a certain age. What do y'all think?

Sexual Sterotypes

I think it's well established that physical sex drive does decline slowly from the teens, and that has been my experience also. That doesn't mean it declines to zero, or anything near it.My impression is that mental sex drive declines much less than physical sex drive.

It's true that men and women over fifty still have a sex life despite the sterotype that they just stop having sex after a certain age. My dad at 78 is still poking his GF. The stereotype is not true in his case!!! I think it really depends on the physical condition of the person too. He still plays tennis and just tiled 500sq.ft in his apartment this summer. He's going strong.

No stereotypes are right for each and every person. There are always acceptions to rules.

And I still feel like a freak sometimes.

I have heard or read that guys sexual peek is in their teens and girls sexual peek is in their 30's. Makes since, right... Anyways...I hope that when I am 50+ I am still having sex, if I'm not then there is something wrong cause you know sex is real good and feels great, why would you want to stop just cause your getting older. Hey if you are having physical 'getting there' problems, there is always Viagra, for both men and women.
