Stomach growth

I think I've heard of that as a C.O.D. somewhere, the expansion of a stomach, giving no room in the body for the other organs and therefore resulting in death. I can't seem to find it on Google or Wikipedia, but I'm pretty sure I've heard of it.I don't have much information to give, either. Sorry. :T

I have something that will void any worries my last post may have caused you!It turns out the thing I was talking about, C.O.D. of stomach expansion, is pertaining to a condition where someone had their brain signals never get to the rest of his body to tell this person that he was full, and as a result, he was a bottomless pit - unable to stop eating or to satiate his hunger. He died of asphyxiation from gastric distention - his stomach expanded so much so that there was no more room for his other organs, and as a result, suffocated. I'm pretty sure this kind of asphyxiation isn't concerning whatever problems you may be having right now. Sorry to cause anxiety for you!

that does little to ease my woes.
-
Well, sorry. :T. But as far as I've heard, stomach expansion is caused by the condition I've described in my prior post

I don't think its nessicerly like the stomach is growing however, there is a growth in the stomach. Like.. a tumor or something. (i don't think it is a tumor.)
-
If you haven't had an X-ray or scan, you should get one.Any growth is called a tumour, though not all tumours are malignant and life-threatening.
-
What makes it complicated is this isn't me.
I wish it was me.. but, its not.
To my knowledge its been described as fatal. I get the idea fatalities are pretty common from whats been discussed.
-
That sounds like a cancerous tumour. However, I suggest you try to get more precise information. When there's not much information, often things get garbled in transmission. A small risk from an operation might get exaggerated, for example.

True.. Other factors might also be playing a part.. too much is unknown at the moment.
