Ok.. So I was reading a post about stretching / pulling back foreskin. So.. As a guy that s cut and have never had a foreskin (well yea.. I was born with it \but it got sliced off..) I have no idea about how that pulling back stretching.. So I dk why I been wonder but so I figure I’d ask and show how clueless I am lolOn here there are a lot of posts about pulling it back and stuff… I’m assuming this is something that uncut guys start doing in puberty……right? Well. I was just wondering why is it just started in puberty? Why wouldn’t it be moved back when ur a kid… wouldn’t it need to be moved back to bath ….wut about pissing? doe sit only have to be moved when it has to do with sex?I’m just really wondering why no one (or some) wouldn’t mess with their foreskin until puberty.

Why wait until puberty?

Because the forskin is often semi-attached to the glans.. almost glued to it. When it starts to separate is very individual but usually occurs before puberty. During puberty, guys start playing with them selves more and the pulling back starts to happen.

oh... ok.
i get it now.
ungluing. that's sounds like it would hurt. :open_mouth:

Just like SDP said, it's kinda attached to the glans. If you force it to separate, it'll hurt, yes, but it'll slowly separate on its own for most.
To urinate, there's no need to retract -- in fact, while it's still adhered to the glans, not only you cannot, but it's also pretty clean, as far as urine residue goes... it just doesn't have anywhere to remain
And actually, this whole stretching thing? I have my guess that it has to do with the general (and very accepted, and "we are used to it") "prudishness". Let me explain that a bit better. As far as memory serves with myself as a child, and my teens when I used to spend summers with my parents on a lake's beach, if you provide boys with the possibility/opportunity to feel their bits, they will. Which will pretty much lead to pulling at their trunk if they're uncut -- which (and here go the assumptions and theories) will both aid the release of adhesion and for example make the frenulum longer, among other things. Pretty much all the same things that these unfortunate guys on this forum will have to do in their teens (or even later!) -- an exercise they actively have to spend a lot of time with, as opposed to some natural instinct of sorts that'd fix things in a more passive manner for the vast majority of boys.
So in short, I'd say it starts well before puberty, but those who have problems down there, won't be younger than that and be able to ask on these forums, obviously
