Hey guys.To make a long story short, my boyfriend suffered a panic attack yesterday. It was so scary because it happen out of nowhere and without any warning. He couldn't breathe, lost feeling in his arms and legs and was weaving in and out of consciousness. At first, I thought he was having a heart attack and I was scared out of my mind. His father and I took him to the ER and were there for a couple of hours. The doctor told me that it was, in fact, a panic attack. The strange thing is, my boyfriend isn't going through any kind of stress or anxiety. And he's never had a panic attack before. He was acting normally and, all of the sudden, had trouble breathing.Today, he's doing much better and is back to his old self. I asked him if he could remember what he was thinking before he had his attack and he can not.So, I have two questions for those who know anyone who has had a panic attack before:1) Can a panic attack really happen to anyone who isn't going through some sort of anxiety or constant fear? Like I briefly said, he's not going through any kind of stress or anything. Even he doesn't know how it could possibly happen.2) I forgot to ask the doctor this question because I was too shaken up and wasn't thinking straight. IF my boyfriend were to have another attack in the future, what should I do? I've been reading (but I should do some more) and learned that panic attacks usually just pass. What I did was call his father and took him to the ER. I guess I'm just wondering if I should take him to the ER again or just simply to the hospital. Thanks for reading.- much love, VS

my arnt got burgled and had her deseased moms jewelry stolen she had panic attacks or something like it, the was all she had left 2 remember her by. I for 1 think that something must happen for some1 to have a panic attack. As for what should u do, well do what u did before but if it is getting worse i think taking him hospital would be best he might over it before u get there. But i hope he is alright and it doesn't happen again.
