I recently began to get very close with a guy who is not only older than me, but also lives five hours away from me - in a different state. While we have not persued anything yet, I would really like to. He is twenty one (I'm eighteen), but we seem to get eachother which neither of us seem to come across very often. We seem to have a really strong natural connection...So my question is: is this something I should consider persuing? Or should I forget it and try to find someone closer?

How easy would it be for you to move to the same town some time in the reasonably near future?

I would be able to, and wouldn't mind finding a school there for my upcoming year. After that however (he'd be out of college), I would definitely be wanting to move back for the university I want to go to. So it may be plausable, however the chances we'd see eachother very much during the summer seems slim. He would be on tour and I would be working. I have been fine with relationships in the past wheremy partner has left for a significant period of time. I know that I, at least, would be able to handle it.

From Personal experience .I've never had a girl date me than less than 9 months.I've also never had a girl in the same state as me XDI been dating for 5 years now? So It's doable. especially with you both being old enough to drive. If either of you have the slighest bit of patience you might as well if you really think he's worth it.My thoughts are though is get to know him a bit better, make sure he's actually worth the distance and not like, funny now that I think about it, I turned down 5 people exactly like you before meeting you X_X
