-
HUH????You CAN bring smokes onto the plane and you CAN bing a lighter too. (bring not use)
-
forgive my typos Im a shitty typist.you can not bring a lighter, matches in a book of strike on box are ok but no lighters, or atleast it was taht way a month ago. I havent been on any planes or had any reason to look into updates. from Salt lake to Seattle was the last flight, besides one home in reverse. no lighters, no gels of any kind, no sprays unless they were in carry on and even then its limited quanitys.Know what? fuck this tihs is a wasit of both our time. instead lets use google, whats it gonna take me 3 seconds?and here we go:Common Lighters - Lighters without fuel are permitted in checked baggage. Lighters with fuel are prohibited in checked baggage, unless they adhere to the Department of Transportation (DOT) exemption, which allows up to two fueled lighters if properly enclosed in a DOT approved case. If you are uncertain as to whether your lighter is prohibited, please leave it at home. Yes No Torch Lighters - Torch lighters create a thin, needle-like flame that is hotter (reaching 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit) and more intense than those from common lighters. Torch lighters are often used for pipes and cigars, and maintain a consistent stream of air-propelled fire regardless of the angle at which it is held. Torch lighters continue to be banned. No No Strike-anywhere Matches - One book of safety (non-strike anywhere) matches are permitted as carry-on items, but all matches are prohibited in checked baggage. but the entire list and rules are availible here

I CANNOT be wrong, I copied and pasted my information from the same site. I may of been wrong before, but was going off of what I was told by screeners when I last flew, the info I just gave I copied and pasted form the TSA site.so if anyone is wrong its conflicting infomration on TSA.I unfortunatly dont have time to sift through it and see if I was wrong but my last was right or if its conflicting info or what, I gotta run. If I was wrong before checking te site, thats fine, I dont doubt I was, it was old info and shit changes all the time for airlines rules and regs. We can continue this later if you still think Im wrong, no time to do it now, now is time to go make some money.
-
I know you are wrong.. HAHA..The rules were changed August 4th.I flew last month and forgot to take the lighter out of my smokes and the TSA guy asked me to show him the lighter and said it was now OK to bring lighters on the plane.http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/sop/index.shtmIn your face!!

as I said, I may of been wrong in my first post based on my experience, however, the links I put up goto the same site you quote, so Im not wrong in my final opinion so na na na na nay nay!
Now if you will excuse me I have to go back tobeing a semi-adult  -
If you look more carefully, you will notice that the Common Lighter allowance says YES for Carry-on and NO for checked and the description you cited only discusses Checked Baggage.. So what this all means is that you and your opinion are STILL wrong....

OHHhhhhhhhhh...Fuck it.thats it! Im leaving this site forever! or atleast till monday, what ever comes first.prove me wrong will you? go suck a bag of dicks!
