Once again, I find myself in a fucked up relationship.Me and my gf have been together for 3 months. I recently went on holiday for a few days, and she was really clingy beforehand.I got back yesterday, and to be honest, I haven't missed her. I've been thinking about stuff over the last week or so, and I don't think shes the one for me. I'm very academic, I'm doing a lot of difficult, time consuming subjects at school, and she is doing a couple of fairly easy ones, and she doesn't understand why I can't spend hours after school with her. We're both 16 for the record.I'm behind on my studies, and I'm just missing being single because I could talk to who I wanted without anyone getting paranoid, and I had all the time in the world to do what I wanted, without having to give up days of my schedule for someone else.I've also realized she has no defining factor. You know you get girls who you can have deep talks with, or who are great at resolving situations, or even just making you feel good? She's just mediocre at everything, she doesn't really have a unique quality. Now comes the killer line. She self harms.I found that out after she told me she's cheated on me. She cheated on my with some band member on the first day, and she only told me about a month into the relationship. I'm kicking myself for not ending it there. But she told me a few weeks later that she'd cut herself because she was so scared of losing me.Yes, I'm royally fucked, but please offer some advice here. She knows I've been off her since I've got back, and she keeps saying things for confirmation like "I've missed you!" and "Love you!", and I just can't lie, so I'm having to say things like "Yeah, sorry I went away."I was thinking of just being off with her for a few weeks, and not seeing her as much because I genuinely have too much schoolwork to catch up on, but that could backfire because she might get used to that, and then she'll still be there, hanging on to me.Please help a brother out.

Get me out of this one :[

It depends on the type of person you are, man.
If it were me, I'd get shut of her before she does and if that happens it could effect you differently than you breaking up with her would. -
Girls aren't stupid. They can tell when you aren't into them, just like they can tell when you are cheating on them. So when she's saying, "I love you" or "I missed you," don't lie when you respond to her. Because then she thinks she's going nuts, and she'll start convincing herself that it's just her being crazy, and then she convince herself that you really DO love her.

I can honestly say I was in exactly the same problem about 7 months ago.It didn't end well. She and all of her friends (some of whom were mine) hate me now, even so long after. Moral of the story? It EndedThe only way out of this one, I'm sorry to say, is to man up and tell her exactly what you think. "I can't do this, I don't like you anymore, I need to find someone else"Will she hate it? Yes. Will it suck a lot? Oh, yes. But even if you try to be all suave about it, it'll still backfire. Mine did.Just get rid of her and start being happy again. I did that, found someone LOADS better. (On the bright side, now you know what to not look for in a girl.
