maybe it goes here maybe it doesnt, find out we hope, today if its cancer or if its atleast likely to not be cancer.
Some time (a few weeks ago) I mentioned my son having some medical problems, after much bullshit and referals and scheduling and fucking holidays today is the day he finally gets to see a specialist.
While I know Ill have no resluts today I am hoping that we can atleast get a better idea of what we are up against, if its cancer, or if its not.
We know its not a fluid filled sack in his testicals, one of them is the size of a grapefruit and is firm and not squishy like a fluid sack is. It COULD be a fatty deposit that grew out of control but the doc doenst seme to thinks os because of how firm it is and that its in one testical and extends to his abdomen.
Hes 14, 15 the end of december.
He found the problem a year ago, never said shit till a doctor found it on a physical for him to play basketball for the school.
We are WAY late on getting help because of that.
Ill post more topnight when we have actually seen the specialist and know more of whats going on, just starting the thread with some facts so it can be added to later as new shit and information is found out.
I meant to do this a while ago, but doing it sorta makes it real and its something I have been trying not to deal with till we actually got in to see a specialist.
Scotty, Pepsi, Helms, SDP, Inelliglble, and al the others that wished me and my son luck, thanks, I hope luck is on our sidde and its a minor bullshit thing that can be easily corrected and get his ass back on track. If not... then I guess we just deal with that shit as it comes. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Mainly my hope is that this thread is found by some asshole kid who thinks its all fine but has one nut growing large and fast and doesnt tell his parents so it can be looked into. Maybe what comes of this can influence them that its either nothing bad and can be easily dealt with and treated or convince them of the urgency and need to get it looked at right away because it can be serious and bad shit.
And now Im off to pull my son out of school and head to Primary Childens Medical center, a really fucking great hospital with a good staff, they have been taking care of my 17 year old for about 16 years now with his diabeties. Ther isnt anyone Id feel more comfortable with for a problem with my children. Im lucky to have them an hour away, people come from the country and world over to get care at that facility, and if it does go to shit, Huntsmans Cancer center is built on with a sky walk between them. Another great hospital where my 17 year old had thyroid removal for cancer a couple years ago.
