Before starting, I have to specify that I'm not circumcised and usually don't retract my foreskin while masturbating since it's just a bit too tight except when I'm using water-based lube which seems to alleviate the problem entirely. The short story is, I tried masturbating with my foreskin retracted using some silicon lube instead which is supposed to last a lot longer than water-based lube. However, it's also a lot less slippery, so there was a lot more friction than usual and probably some pain too, but the feelings where too intense for me to notice.Anyway. After about 20 minutes of this, the heat and pain where starting to be a bit noticeable, so I looked down only to realize that my foreskin had become very, very swollen, becoming about 4 times as thick as usual on the side where my hand would rub against it the most. I was really freaked for a bit, and I didn't try to pull it up because it was really sensitive and because I had no idea what kind of damage I could do to myself if I tried. So I went to sleep with the head of my penis exposed, despite how painful it felt when it rubbed against my underwear, hoping the swelling would subside during the night.Well, it didn't. It actually worsened a bit, no doubt because of the friction against my clothes during the night, and was now swollen on both sides of the head.I've since spent an entire day in that state, putting back seeing a doctor because it's impossible to see one right now for various reasons. I took a chance a few minutes ago, and using a lot of water-based lube, managed to pull the foreskin over the head to at least protect it and prevent continued swelling through active friction. What I'd like is some kind of advice about what I can do until I can see a doctor on monday. Should I put ice on it or are there any kind of non-prescription medecine I can take that might reduce the swelling while not being dangerous for anything else? Or should I just stay put, wait for the swelling to reduce itself and hope that I didn't suffer any minor cuts or run any risks of infection? Any help would be appreciated.

Very swollen foreskin - How to reduce?

hmmm...i think you prolly got an allergic reaction to it.I was swollen a while back and saw my doc...he gave told me to take Motrim...it helps for the swelling...try that see if it works.

I doubt that you really need to see a doctor, but that's up to you. Leaving it retracted was a mistake. If you pushed the foreskin back up over the head, basically leave it alone and the swelling will subside. You can't go from "too tight to retract" to I'm going to beat the shit out of it. Of course it's going to get swollen.

If it is still swollen and uncomfortable, suggest you try some steroid cream which should help control an allergic reaction fairly quickly.
Hopefully the entire foreskin is not trapped behind the glans which would require more urgent treatment. -
Whatever the cause was, it's been two days now and the swelling is pretty much gone, though I intend to be careful for a few days just to be sure. And yeah, the swollen area wasn't actually painful as long as I wasn't pressing it too hard.
In any case, no more silicon for that, and I'll make sure to be more aware in the future of such reactions. Thanks everyone.

I doubt it was from the lube. You just over stressed the sensitive skin.
