Okay.So I met a girl and we have been hanging out all the time lately, and I have found out she is a little old fashioned when it comes to relationships. For me, I usually date someone for a while and then consider it a de facto relationship. She sort of likes to be asked by a gentleman if she would like to be his girlfriend.... so, having no experience, how is a good way to approach this? I feel awkward, not only because of the nervousness, but also because of the 'novelty' of the task... in my eyes anyway. It's not something I am used to doing, and I am not sure of the accepted conventions involved, aside from what I have seen on movies. But I would gather this is a sort of 'scripted' thing, much like a marriage proposal only perhaps not as serious.Advice appreciated,LQ

Asking Her to be my Girlfriend

It cannot be scripted.. you can think about things you want to say when you talk to her but don't script it. (she will know)How old are you and this girl??Tell her how you feel and the way you feel when she is around you.. tell her you want to be with her. Buy her flowers (girls love that)Go with your gut instinct..
