She went to the clinic and they said she was pregnant also.(so she is pregnant.)then she got her period, and went back to the clinic, the doc. said that it it was okay, that she still had the baby. and that the period would only last 2 day.any clearer??

Period.
-
Quite so. TYSo is it possible that she's pregnant and had a period? Yes it happens.
-
np.Okay so can you explain to me, how that works?cause I thought that you couldn't have your period when your pregnant..
-
It's light bleeding/spotting that can happen during the first trimester. After her last period finishes, she shouldn't have anymore. It's perfectly normal.
-
thanks helms!okay, so she should only have one spotting thing through out the whold pregnancy?I'm really scared for her. She just turned 15 about a month ago, and has really no clue whats going on. So I would like to be of some help.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention~
There are actually many reasons for a bit of a bleed early in pregnancy, and rarely, throughout pregnancy.
Mostly, in early pregnancy, spotting is not uncommon. As long as it is only spots, and that it stops it should not be a sign of a problem. Any saturating of pads or pain (cramping) is more of a problem sign. However, many times the pregnancy does not end in miscarriage every time there is heavy bleeding, sometimes the bleeding resolves and the pregnancy continues.
Does this help?

P.S. Helms' and my 1st Anniversary is in 2 days!

okay, so if she starts to bleed real hard, It doesn't mean that she lost the baby??Not necessarily... but she does need it checked, to make sure everything is working okay?If she starts to bleed that much, yes. If not, everything is probably fine, like they said.Yes, I am excited. I can't believe it has been a whole year either! We are going sailing on Sunday, a great day!K

okay.thank you very much. that makes me relieved to know a little more. :0]WOW! I hope you both have lots of fun!
-
So are you scared becasue she is pregnant or scared that she is bleeding?
-
well It was a little bit of both.
but now just the preg. part. :0]
because she doesn't know "anything" and she is just soo young.. -
I was thinking the bleeding might be a miscarriage. At her age, they might not be a bad thing. How many weeks is she?
-
i had my thoughts about the miscarriage thing. and no It wouldn't. it would be sad though.
I think like 2 but I don't know for sure...
-
@ helms Quote: Helms' and my 1st Anniversary is in 2 days! did u remeber that or was that her way of rminding you to go shopping LMAO

Women like to make subtle hints like that.

Break through bleeds are possible during early pregnancy. Although, if she's experiencing pain, you should make sure she hasn't miscarried
-
Miscarriage is a sad thing... Having PCOS, I know that if I try to have a baby and succeed in conception, I have a high chance at miscarrying... And then I hear about people abusing their children and aborting their unborn and I think why are they allowed to have babies and not someone who can't even have them and would make a wonderful, loving mother like me?
