This happened not too far from where I live. I feel terrible for the families. Four people died, and 38 injured. They'll definitely be in my prayers and thoughts.
Apparently there were 20 semi tractor trailors, and 50 other motor vehicles involved.

It was really foggy when it happened and there was also a 'controlled fire' which somehow became out of control, right in the area.

My mom knows someone who almost got involved, but he pulled off to the side of the road. He said whenever he pulled over and saw cars pass him, all you could hear was metal crashing, because you couldn't see anything.
