Can you get herpes inside your mouth?Let me explain: On the left, lower side of my mouth, outside the teeth (About where the gums reach the base of the mouth) I have a disturbing looking white.. orb.. that looks kind of like the fat from a steak. Looks like a sore to me (its about the size of a pimple, i suppose)Is there some sort of site I could send a picture of it to and have them give a diagnosis? Could I post a pic here? Can herpes be transferred by sharing a ciggarette or pipe?I think im freaking out right now

Probably a Canker Sore

Well, I hope it isn't cancer, but I don't think that I've been smoking long enough to get it.I did think of the canker sore thing, but I've had those before and they're usually smaller, and not raised, as this one appears. I notice on some of the stuff I read that you shouldn't share utensils for fear of getting/spreading herpes. For future reference, does it actually spread that way? Thats why I asked about the pipe thing (Mind you, some people slobber no small amount).

Yes herpes can be spread on items passed from mouth to mouth without being sterilized if one person has an active infection.
Things such as proper washing of eating utensils would eliminate the risk.

I think it's unlikely to be herpes. Is there any reason you can't go to a doctor and get it diagnosed, so you know?
