a few years ago a girl and me went on a date and on the way back home me and her started talking and i asked her if i could kiss her and she said no i mean i had taken her all the way to st. louis which is about two and a half hour from were we lived and it was our first date and i spent over $100 on the one evening and then now she tells everybody that she never liked me that she dated me so that she dated me to be cool at her school cause i was older. and on top of her saying that that she also likedmy cousin and thats way i think she dumped me is this normal and if not how can i make sure that this doesnt happen agian.

If a girl...

how can i make sure that this doesnt happen agian1) Don't drive 2½ hours for some chick on a first date. Seriously2) Don't spend over $100 (plus gas) until you're sure you want to spend that many
-
I agree with both. Being a nice guy and wanting to impress the girl is alright, but you gotta realize that, what you invest in the beginning may not have returns. Until she's 'committed' to you, everything you do is at risk of being for nothing, so, I'd keep it to a minimum loss.Make her like you for you. Not for what you can do.And yes, being used by girls for their personal gain is normal. (not normal of all girls, but it is normal to encounter)

Aren't you sweet! How come there aren't more "nice guys" like that around here? Dang!I agree with SS. 100 BUCKAROONS! Are you on crack? Not for some kid child on the first date. I understand if she said "no" to the kiss, but that's just my morals. But if she was using you, that's all I can say without mentioning something illegal. Something positive... not all girls are like this. Just the immature, fake, golddiggers are. And for a first date I would suggest something in your town. Watch a movie, go ice skating, eat a not too cheap like McDOnalds but not too fancy dinner. I guess it all depends on the age really but... yeah. And if she doesn't seem into you when you ask her out and when you're with her on the date, maybe you should make some adjustments to your future plans with her also.

I'm finding it hard to reconcile this post with the age you give in this post.
-
wow... he must have meant elementary or jr. high when he said "older" in school?lol
-
Looks like we got another liar on our hands. He can't even drive for another 2-4 years (depending where he lives). Why do people lie about shit like this?
-
maybe it was one of those stupid typos? lol

A few years ago you were what... 11..12? And your dad drove you on a 2.5 hour drive for a first date where he let you spend $100 on this date?I think both you AND especially your father need to be slapped for being stupid.
-
Wow, stop trying. You know you're lying. So a few years ago you were anywhere from 10-12. So your "girlfriend" was either 9, 10, or 11 years old.If you're going to lie about something, at least come up with a good story.
