anyone have any ideas on this one? for the past maybe 1 to 2 days, i've had to pee almost like every 30-45 minutes, maybe even every 20 minutes. the thing is, i haven't even really eaten or drank much of anything to make me pee like that, only during meals 'n stuff (which i eat twice a day). any one know why i have to keep peeing that much since i hardly drank anything at all?

I wonder...

hmm, possibly. it feels like something has been sitting on top of my bladder or somethin' but i suspect it might be some type of infection as well.

it's a good thing i've got antibiotics from when i got my wisdom teeth pulled out, so i think those should be okay to use, probably. thanks for the tips guys.

try to flush your system first. Why the heck do you have antibiotics left? It is people NOT FINISHING their prescriptions that is helping create antibiotic resistant bacteria! If you only have PART of a prescription left, you will kill the weaker germs, allowing the stronger ones to grow. Do it right. Or the next time, the germs could be strong enough to not be treatable.

You shouldn't be using left-over antibiotics. First you don't know if you have an infection and if you do, it might not be enough to properly treat it.

well, it's not exactly left over antibiotics. i just got my teeth pulled this last wednesday and they said to use the antibiotics until it's gone, i guess. alright, i'll just flush out my system for the time-being

I thought I had a UTI These last few days.....But I Just started drinking alot of fluid and alot of cranbery juice and symtoms are pretty much gone. So If that's what It is drinking heaps definatly helps...And Just to hyjack the post thing for a min, if all i have left is mild abdominal pain, kinda like period pain, do I need to see a doctor? ( I would go but I'm currently traveling the UK which is pretty much on the other side of the world to my home so i don't know how easy the whole doctor thing is when I'm not a citizen here)Back to original poster: If you drink an arse load of water, your more likely to do good then bad so worth the try

Finish what the doc prescribed, drink lots of fluids, and eat some yogurt. (the yogurt helps keep your digestive tract inline while the antibiotics do their thing)As for lots of fluids, stay away from sugary stuff, and caffeinated stuff too. LOTS and LOTS of water should do you. Though, cranberry juice can't hurt!

CnC your definitely on the right track. When are you do back? I wouldn't let the tummy ache go for more than a couple days maybe a week. Don't stop drinking loads of water though! even when all the symptoms subside.

The theory with the cranberry juice is that it makes your urine too acidic for bacteria to live and prevents them getting a hold in your bladder so they get flushed out....aslong as that particular juice is not full of sugar. Sugar bad.
