Damien! HUG Good to see ya back!

President Barack Obama?! Maybe Not.
-
Thanks friend!I was actually planning on re-entering on a more benign thread, not a political one for pete's sake! But what the heck, right?
-
If your gonna jump into a pile of shit, does it matter from what side you jump.Hope ya stick around. There's a religious thread that you might also want to get in on. LoL
-
no, what you said in this post is not what you said in the other one, you said you want the one with the most experience, not the ones whos not a republican who has the most experience. In this round iM all for the dems, Iv never voted repub, but I prefer obama, if hillary wins she who Ill vote for in novmeber.I had a hard time choosing between the two, in the end obmama more closely represents my ideals than she does.

Iv been TRYING to mostly stay out of that one, all I get is pissed off and stressed, and its not worth it, I look into it once in a while, but try to avoid actually getting involved, I do not always succeed
-
I'm trying so hard to stay out of it I didn't even know we had one going!!
-
Of course you did! theres a reply from you in that thread.Of course it started out as something different than its turned in to.

Hi Damien!so, one might argue that deep political experience is not condusive to strong leadership. If one knows how to play tha game, that's almost mutually-exclusive to being a visonary. There can be a difference between being a politician and being a statesman. Righ now, the US needs the kind of person who can reperesent them on the world stage and mend some fences (as one of very many duties naturally)I know that change does not automatically mean better. Some things fail, that's life. But when you look around at any situation and ask "is it good the way it is" and the answer is no, then change is the only option.

cheap ? fuck bobbo, your wrong, its not cheap here, its fucking expensive and outrageous and bullshit to pay what i pay to live and some parts of the country are worse than where I am, some are better but none of its cheap

The pay is cheap, the quality of living is cheap, the gas is cheap ($3 to the gallon? Boo fucking hoo, its over $7 here!) and the dollar is worth shit! Its a cheap country, quickly flushing itself down the toilet.

Damien yay!!

And you know this how? Cause you've actually experienced what it's like to live here, or cause you're the one buying in to someone's propoganda about the US?Good to see you again, you whiny little mick bastard.

These aren't my words, but someone who made a very good point on the topic of experience. Originally Posted By: "lessthanpleased"As for the Clinton v. Typically, only Republicans harp about this sort of thing this loudly and vociferously. While some would and are suggesting that being married to a President is sufficient enough experience to be President, I remain unconvinced. I somehow doubt that Sen. Dodd's wife would be sufficiently experienced to wax philosophical about parliamentary procedure, and she's been married to a Senator for far longer than Clinton was married to a President. So you know, it's six of one and half-dozen of the other. The current president has proven that the only experience necessary to be president is an aversion to accidentally lighting onself and the podium one is speaking at on fire, because I fail to see what President Bush did as Governor or as a failed businessman to make him a qualified candidate for the job. Hell, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld were two of the most experienced men in Washington, D.C. and I don't hear people clamoring to praise their respective job performances in light of that. The experience debate is ultimately just kind of silly. CitationAnd Obama has passed Clinton in the primaries for the first time. Also, this topic reminds me of a movie where some party guys got a random black guy to run for President so that someone would have a better chance and he ended up wining. At the end, he has a fake copy of him who is cheering and gets shot. Of course, it was made years ago, and I doubt it would have been taken in good taste if it was made recently
