Well you all know me and seen my pics, and as you can tell my arms are pretty big. But my muscle doesn't show off very well. you can see the buldge and so on, but it's not really "toned" I guess you'd say.But I can't seem to get it toned, so what should I do?Also a question of bulking up. I understand it's important to get allot of protein. But how do calories figure into this.Like, I'm 190 pound I think, and say I want to bulk my pecs. obviously I'd need 120-140g of protein but how important are calories?Like if you eat enough fish and chicken/veggies in general, you can pull off getting 120g of protein, and only take in 1500 calories if you're careful.Would this still bulk you up, or would with my weight and hight(6'2) would I still need 2500-3000+ calories to actually bulk up even with a high amount of protein

Protein is used to regenerate and build new muscles. Calories are used to fuel your muscles. When excess protein is taken it can be converted to glucose and used as energy. You need enough of both to maintain muscle mass, if you don't get enough protein your body can't regenerate existing muscle mass, without fuel your body can't maintain the energy needs of all your muscles (muscles require a fair amount of energy even whilst not in use) and will break down muscle fibers for energy.
It's very hard to gain muscle mass and lose fat at the same time. Hence why people go through a cutting and bulking diet.
Bulking is easy, work hard, very hard, and eat. Most people do this through Autumn and Winter.
Cutting is tougher, it requires calorie counting and working out exactly how much your body needs to maintain it's current mass, then eating very slightly less. Workout, doing weights, but focusing on cardio too and you should shed the bulk fat without losing the bulking muscle you gained.

Yeah at this point I'm working on trying to tone up my abs being visible by burning the fat then working on fully trying to bulk up.
I'm still at the point I have enough fat that if I do build up my abs allot, it'll probably push out and make me look like I have a gut without flexing, and I cbf flexing all the time just to look good
