Hello everyone. It's been a little while since my last post here but whatever. I have a question about this... http://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?image=picture29gd4.jpg (Picture is of me and isn't anything too scary. )It's been like that on both sides of my face for a long time now. (Weird redness and pimple things) I want to know if that is permanent or something. If it isn't, what are some ways I can fix it because it's really been bugging me lately. Thanks for listening guys and gals and I hope to get some replies soon.

Acne question/problem?

This could just be razor burn, like your skin getting irritated when you shave, either because the razor is old or another reason. I suggest you start using a good face wash like nuetrogena or clean and clear, along with a good after shave.

Thanks for the reply. As for the shaving, I have one of those electric razor. I'm no professional when it comes to shaving so this question feels so stupid to ask but...why exactly do you need after-shave for? When I shave, I never use any. Do I still need to use after-shave even after using an electric razor?
As for the suggestion about using a good face wash, I'll try to get a hold of some as soon as possible. Thanks.

u use an after shave to help calm your skin after u shave... hence the name :-Pwhat happens is your skin becomes irritated from the amount of friction being caused, and all the work ur doing to ur face... the aftershave is like babies lotion or powder, it just helps calm ur face and keep ur pores from doing whats happening to your face...if the clean and clear wipes dont work, i would suggest u try getting some bump stopper cream, i use that for under my jaw, and on my jaw line. try using regular razors, or done shave for a while... from what im guessing from the picture u shave, 1 time a day maybe 1 time every 2 days... but it seems more like every day...

Do you apply any sort of topical agent to your face? I would try acne medicine. I've used stuff that you can get at the grocery store called Acne Free. It's basically generic Proactiv, which is a miracle cure for acne. Using an acne-fighting facewash would definitely help a ton, too.

Witch Hazel.
My man grinds his face every day with an electric shaver, and gets a bit of a rash. Even aftershave wasn't stopping all of the rash, so I dug out the witch hazel and it keeps him clear. It's even dirt cheap.
It helps with swelling, and is an antiseptic so it keeps infection from setting in around his irritated hair follicle. Worth a try especially if aftershave doesn't do it.
