So my girlfriend and I have recently become fairly sexually active. On Thursday, I was eating her out when I decided to finger her. I noticed no blood, nothing on my fingers...THEN, as she was getting really close to climaxing, i noticed a deep reddish watery liquid (like period blood i'm assuming) on my fingers as she came. She got worried, because it happened a month before and just disappeared after her period. But now her last period is over, and there should be NO reason for blood, because I had fingered her earlier in the week successfully...Is there a chance that this is infection, or a cut? Then today she noticed (but didn't tell me until tonight...) that she has a brownish discharge. I also ate her out today, and she didn't tell me until afterwards.I'm just really worried about her, is the dark red normal? is the brown normal? She's about as clueless as I am, and i'd really appreciate anybodys help!

HELP! vaginal discharge = infection?

I need you to be a bit more specific...when was her last period or is she going to expect one soon?Reason I'm asking is because if she's expecting her period soon, that can happen. Brown discharge is not uncommon and it can happen before or after a period. Completely normal, so you can relax.

Her period is kind of irregular... but all I know is that it happens around the tenth of every month. Somewhere around there, so her period has been done for a while and isn't exactly close.
BUT I forgot this important bit, she's terriffied because at dinner tonight she was complaining about cramps... and says that "women don't have brownish discharge" and now I'm worried out of my head too!

A completely stupid and ignorant lie. I don't know who told her that but that's dead wrong. Brown discharge is not uncommon, it does happen. If her discharge changes to a very different color than her normal color AND it's persistant, then it would cause concern. In this case, if this is her very first time or it's just once a month, I wouldn't worry.
ADDED: Uh oh, I'm going to be an ass. I just noticed this happened before. If you're going to freak out everytime something reddish brown comes out of there, should you really be fingering her? I don't know how old your girlfriend but if she's in her teens, I can bet it's the hormones that's making her period wacky.
