Quick Questions

Outdoors kinda freak me out. I am always nervous something will crawl up my butt. :scream_cat:
-
"I am always nervous something will crawl up my butt."That's just Mr. U, don't worry about it.
-
Glad the only furry woodland creature I have to worry about is Mr. U.
-
lmao
Scotty took the words right out of my mouth (guess that leaves it free for more creative purposes)
now, remember, when approached by a large grey Canadain timber-wolf in the forest, simply disrobe and get on all fours

A FAQ type thing at the top of each board that has links to certain topics based on certain questions. Probably the most useful threads it would link to. This would take a long time to complete, though.

Only thing I realized in my absence (is that right) was that I missed some people here. While I was gone (banned but not by a2a) I only got to talk to a few. Ineligible, Ben, old folks, and lish……. And chance but threw ineligible. So I didn’t get to acaully say thanks or by or nothing to him and………well.. Wutever but it’s a fear I have that if I leave I’ll never get to see (talk) to them again. When I try to I dk.. Chat with some one new it always seems to end bad. And I’m tired of it………. I’m beginning to think it’s me. I even Shannon has left me. I got nothing now. ..nothing worth keeping on for anyway. And the only reason I hold on to a2a is I don’t want to let go of people like chance, old folks, and MRU.……. People I don’t really talk to much but I ..I dk.. Admire is a strong word but it’s all I can think of. As for the nasty arguments I’m not for. I don’t like confutation or hearing them / reading but what s good about here is I don’t have to read them. But I do like debates or like… info and stuff. Taking what person A said and then what person B said and figuring out shit on my own.

I don't know if you want my response or not, since I'm one of those controversial members you're referring to.I can tell you that I should (and have been) banned many times before. I should be permanently banned, but I can't seem to stay away from A2A. Sucks for you guys, I guess.I think people that are idiots and only here to annoy others should be banned. That includes people like SteveA (he was smart, but we all know what his problems were), white_lines (he qualifies as an idiot, though I dunno if he was banned), and I wish Grown was banned too, as he spreads too mcuh bullshit which other people read and believe. I bet there's at least one person holding in his crap right now in order to gain weight.I know this will never be possible since there's no one definition of idiot, annoying, etc. but that's just what I would like to see happen. Of coruse that would also mean I get a perma-ban, but that's still how I feel.> Do you think A2A needs to have a certain entertainment value, in order to keep people interested enough to respond to unrelated regular, routine posts?I didn't think this forum was about entertainment.I would like to mention one thing that is the exact opposite of entertainment and makes me NOT want to post: People and their stupid little sexual fantasies. Just about every thread that a select few members post in always turns into some kinky shit they seem to enjoy. They turn serious thraeds into joke topics.Example: Back when Amanda was still around, she never stopped with her llama fetish. She single handedly turned most every serious topic into a joke topic.Example 2: This thread. I don't know about yuo, but when I make a thread like this and expect some serious answers, I don't really want to read about furry animals crawling up someone's butt. Maybe that's just me.

you can flirt with me
-
yep, that's just you. Well, not always but if you notice, the OP is also a culprate in the flirting. Of course, if a poster is offened or concerned about the direction his thread takes, he can speak up any time. But as we know very well, threads, like IRL conversations, have a life of their own and constantly evolve.Beleive it or not, I've been annoyed by drifting threads if I'm passionate about the topic. I also accept that it's something that can't be prevented. Quote:I don't know if you want my response or not, since I'm one of those controversial members you're referring to. idk but I think that makes your response that much more valuable
-
if a poster is offened or concerned about the direction his thread takes, he can speak up any timeIf you really want me to, I can dig up threads that I made where I DID speak up, but it didn't change anything. But wait, if I did that, it may show that those selecct few members aren't as innocent as they want to claim to be.> But as we know very well, threads, like IRL conversations, have a life of their own and constantly evolve.I dunno which threads you've been reading, but the threads I'm talking about are not "evolving". They start with a sexual statement, and take off from there. Don't etll me that's just conversations evolving. Or are you going to tell me that when you talk to someone IRL you start talking about creatures crawling up your butt and having threesomes EVERY SINGLE TIME?
-
not every single time but frequently. and I claim no innocence. But here, like IRL, I do often indulge in deep and serious topics. I also blog, primarily on political and socail issues.
-
Your conversations with people around you frequently turn into kinky topics and threesomes?"hey, boss, wanna have a threesome with Shirley over there?"Is that how it goes?
-
in real life
-
that's ok buddynot everyone can be as 1337 as LTTA and me
-
I miss SteveA too. He had an insightful mind. But he also couldn't stop arguing. Arguments may have some entertainment value to some, but overall their effect is negative. There's an argument occurring on the Contraception forum now, and I don't think overall it makes A2A a better place.
I don't think making the place more interesting to regulars makes them more likely to respond to new people asking old questions. However, making the place more interesting, in any way that doesn't deter new members, would be a good thing.
LTTA, the thing with the llama was a long-running joke. That's the problem with in-jokes, though - they tend to push out people who are not in the know.

Where is your proof that threads and conversations evolve?? Don't you dare quote scientific studies to me, everyone knows that they fake all their results just to make an extra buck!
-
what, you want me to believe that converstions were just created?next you'll be telling me that all poetry is written by tree-gnomesawww cramit it churchie!
-
They just make cookies. And those cookies aren't that good, either.
-
You know, the same could be said about serious posts that end up with 35 posts of 'certain members' bitching and putting down other members. God I hate reading through those threads. And it's the regulars that actually take the time to answer the OP's question rather than bitch for 30 posts. And I can also say about 90% of the flirting is kept to the Community Forum unless the OP is a 'flirter' themselves.
