I love them, but I have never actually been to one... Does anyone know if people still re-enact a musical called 'Zanna, Don't!'?

Musicals-

I think they're great, even though I've never been to one live. I missed out on the Lion King when it was here in Hollywood, but Wicked is still playing. I'm still broke but I want to see it before they leave by the end of this year. But I do remember in middle school I saw The Wizard of Oz at the Pantages , but I don't remember if it was a play or musical.I saw Legally Blonde the musical on TV, and that was fantastic! It was actually better than the movie. I also loved Sweeny Todd, but that was the movie version. I have yet to see Mama Mia, Hairspray, and Rent. My college theater group did Oklahoma, but didn't see that also.If there is one musical I'd kill to see, its Spamalot.

I liked RENT, it's the AIDs awareness movie.
I like... The Last Five Years too. :laughing:In Zanna, Don't!, it looks really interesting, because like, the normal thing is to be a homosexual, and if you're a hetero people look at you funny and stuff, it just looks really amazing. I need to see this musical, haha.

"The Sound of Music" is one of the few I like, but I like it a lot. It's a classic.

Same here, I'm not real big on musicals but I really like the Sound of Music. The rest I can do without... unless it's a live performance. Being in the theater instead of on the screen makes a big difference, somehow.

lol yeah but it's not like I can go all the time. It's very expensive but the excitement is great. City that never sleeps I can't tell you how many people I ran into. Some singer/rock star? guy named Adam Pascal I saw at Aida. He was friggin hott in his little red suit lol and really sweet showing me to the bathrooms and helping me get "unlost" in the huge theatre... long story. Julia Roberts... omg... I think I screamed my head off and she was only two feet away. Looking at me like I'm crazy. Zac Efron (BOOOOOO) he was at Hairspray in the audience. And all the girls were swooning. Claire Danes I saw outside of Phantom of the Opera though I didn't get to see it for myself. Paul Walker was with some chick outside of Rent. Don't know if he was actually going though.

as a thepian im offended at you who dont like musicals!!!lol, okey they're not for everyone...I love RENT! so much, im a renthead, seriously, but Aida was good, as was Fiddler on the Roof, Avenue Q, Spring Awakening, and Sweeney Todd. Ive never been to broadway, but there is a broadway theatre league which is basicaly the same people who have been int he show on broadway and now tour with it, seats are usually upper twenties maybe as high as 40, but compared to broadway its really good.Never count out community theatres alot of them are better than the professionals, and so are alot of high schools.

If we're talking about Broadway shows (absolutely sucked that all the theatres were on strike for the week I was in New York), then nothing is better live than The Phantom Of The Opera.

My cousin and i were talking about this just last night, He had always wanted to see it, and i was telling him about all the pyrotechnics, and fog machines and light changes, and now hes really psyched, we're heading in to the city to see it sometime soon... ^_^ can't wait!!!!!

Shaw Moore in Footloose, and next spring I will be directing a production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown. But my favorite musical is Les Miserables.

Iv been called worse!
and was it because of the musical or the song selection?
cos that song.. MAN! if your gonna do somethign to make an ass of yourself, it may as well be in total bad taste!
adn the musical?
piss off! its a great show! -
I'm wondering whether "showeroke" means singing in the shower (with or without audience), or whether it means getting up on stage and not just singing, but also giving a show. Both seem plausible.
