Dose this girl like me?
-
She has a boyfriend. Move along, nothing to see here.
-
that was my second thought after damn it. but she just starts complaning about him being a prick and all that
-
She's playing games with you. Let it go and be happy that you dodged a bullet.
-
So once you two get together, how long will it be before she meets some other guy to complain to about how much of a prick you are (even if you're not)?Basically, if she does it to her current boyfriend, she'll probably do it to you too.

what was said just before she said she has a boyfriend? Some girls say they have a boyfriend to deter guys from thinking they have a chance...even though they don't actually have a boyfriend. It's a scare tactic -- sometimes. It could be that you said something that telegraphed that you liked her, too much, too soon. So as a guard, she threw that up. Need more information. Remember, just because she says one thing, doesn't necessarily mean it's true.

right be for she said she ahd a boyfriend i said i hope you feel better. cuz she was sick today her replie was "my boyriends a dick. i asked why and she said he dosnt care about her and only texts or calls her when its conventent for him never dose anything with her and hes ashamed of her

Sounds like she's looking for an out. A knight in shining armor. Would you like to be this knight?

People need to keep in mind that just because someone is flirting, that has nothing to do with whether or not they have a significant other. Often coupled people will flirt for their own little ego bust, just to know they've still got it... or can still get it, as the case may be.

One of my best friends is like that. She will literally have at least 5 guys that like her, and she'll flirt and hang out with every single one of them, and lead them on.I don't approve of it, but the guys don't actually get hurt; they know they have a chance when she moves on from the other one.See, this is the thing:Like BlackManOnCampus said, it's a scare tactic. It's also a test.If you had been talking to me and I had said that, I probably would have wanted to know if YOU had a girlfriend, or even more: even if I had a boyfriend, would you still want to be my friend? Would you still stick around and be my backbone? If what she's saying about her boyfriend is true, I also agree with the person who said she wanted a "knight in shining armour." She was emotionally vulnerable; she felt like sh*t, she felt her boyfriend couldn't care less about her, and wanted someone to comfort her. Either that, verbally beat the crap out of her boyfriend. Either way, she wanted a crusader to help her through. Honestly, she's probably not worth it. You guys were probably flirting, but come on, she could have been a natural flirt like I am most of the time and not realized what she was doing. It's normal. Completely normal to flirt. When you flirt with someone, it's instinctual to flirt back. I do it all the time with this guy in math class that's a total cutie, and a sweetheart. We flirt back and forth constantly, but he doesn't realize it (he's kind of a prude ;] not that I have a problem with that. So am I most of the time haha). I like him, he knows it, and even though he doesn't necessarily return the feelings, he /does/ flirt back. It's all about how you say things.Girl: Hey what's up?Guy: Nothing; you're looking pretty good today. Girl: Aww, you're too sweet. You're not looking bad yourself, cutie. That's flirting. If you guys were doing that - chances are you were being cordial and polite. If it was more along the lines of:Girl: I want to get away from my guy. Would you be my escape?Guy: Anything for you, babe.Girl: You're amazing.Guy: You deserve better. It was a nice conversation. If it was like this:Girl: You're REALLY hot.Guy: Thanks. You're not too bad yourself.Girl: I mean, really, your abs are amazing. And your smile is adorable.Guy: You're pretty cute. I can totally see myself with you.Girl: I have a boyfriend. He's such a dick. He doesn't care about me at all.Guy: I'm sorry. I hope you feel better.Girl: Yeah ... I feel a lot better now. You really are amazing, you know that?Guy: Thanks. That's major flirting and a warning signal.Say she broke up with her boyfriend for you. How do you know she wouldn't be doing the same thing to do you as she did to her previous boyfriend? It's usually a chain effect. She dumps him, dates you, meets new guy, trashtalks you to him, dumps you, dates him, trashtalks him to another guy, and on and on.She's not worth it.-end novel-Sorry! It's just a subject I'm very into.Kat
