I have never trimmed or anything down there... do you think its a good idea to?

Hair

Hey bud, that is totally a personal choice. I never have, many guys do though and like it trimmed down a bit. So do some of our partners, its never been an issue for me or my wife though.
-
Yeah it's all a matter of preference. I personally trim it short. I don't like it when the hair down there grows into a bush...I don't like the look and it gets annoying. All the girls I've been with prefer it shorter. I use a hair clipper and trim it down to 3 mm.

i shave it off completley. It feels great and my girl loves it this way. but u hav to do whats right for u.
-
it sounds to me like most girls like it short. there is a lot just above it which is kinda annoying me. im unsure as for what to do.
-
Yesh, I prefer to trim it short as well......although I still need to get a new electric shaver. I mean, I'm gonna become a wolverine in a few days if I don't shave.....my genital area, yes, not face.......
-
i shave and leave a trail, but i have to admit, it is a pain in the ass because the hair grows back with in 2-3 days. But once you shave, its worth it. It feels better, looks better and actually gives you better orgasms because your skin is more sensitive down there when you shave.

I never have but its your choice

I used to trim it but now I shave down there. Girls like it well-shaven. It also makes your penis look bigger. The first time I shaved it it was so cool b/c I felt like a 5-year-old j*rking off. However the pubic hairs do grow fast... so regular shaving is in order.
-
haha yea when i shaved i felt very young. i get like red bumps though when i shave so i dont find it a good trade... what do you guys use for shaving gel down there?
-
I think shaving is definately a good idea. Most girls prefer little to no pubic hair; like stated above, it makes your member look bigger; and it helps not gettin some STDs. Some I believe are passed through pubic hair. But if you're havin sex w/ someone I would imagine you would trust them not to have an STD.
-
yeah if i dont put after shave on it i get red bumps.
-
I keep the the twins shaved and keep it fairly short....the girlfriend says that it shows you take pride in your hygien! its your preference though!
-
I'd prefer a guy to shave, or at least trim. It sucks getting pubic hair in your mouth. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
-
ok so i shaved/trimmed as it does look better but its been itching like crazy for 2 days straight! how long until it stops itching? its really uncomfortable.
-
Assuming you don't shave it again, it takes about 5-7 days for the itching to stop.
-
the itching has died down lots today. isnt not as bad now. i didnt realise that it grows back so fast. i dont know if its worth going through all that again because the itching was unbarable! what do you think?
-
I agree - I don't think its worth it. I shaved my pubes on 2 or 3 different occassions in a 1 year period, but haven't done it in about 2 years, and don't want to again either. Trim, maybe. But not shave.
I shave the base of my cock shaft once a week because I hate having hair there. Its easy and doesn't itch, so that's why I do it. If it itched, I wouldn't bother with that either.

I've been shaving my scrotum and shaft constantly since 1998. I am naturally hairy, although not profusely (nobody's every called me Chewbacca), but I've always admired the look and one day decided to try it. I used scissors to trim the hair down enough to use an electric razor. Bad idea. Not only did it itch like crazy, but I think the razor caused a lot of small cuts on my skin and it was very uncomfortable.I was not deterred by this though, and I was introduced to the Gillette Mach 3 razor by my girlfriend, who said it was the best razor for shaving her legs. Ever since then, I've been using it and had great results. The hair on the pubic mound does grow fast, but I just touch that up a bit. The rest of it doesn't grow that fast and I only have to shave about once a week. I do shower first and occasionally use conditioner on the pubic hair to soften it, and then I shave my face with shaving cream. This gets the blades lubricated well and then I do a quick once-over down there, without shaving cream. Then I take a warm, wet washcloth and rub over it so it's nice and clean, then dry with a bath towel. It's real simple, taking only a minute or so, and there's no irritation.I did itch and bother me at first, but you need to let your skin get used to it, which doesn't take long if you don't let it grow again. After that, there's no irritation at all, at least for me. And I have to say it's a lot easier to shave your scrotum than you would think. Just don't use a new razor (that's why I shave my beard first) because it's easier to cut yourself.I also have to add that shaving you scrotum makes the skin super-sensitive -- not so much that it's uncomfortable to wear anything, but I mean you have to experience getting licked by somebody. It's the most intense thing I have ever experienced.
