Well, what is left of it, He is an owner opperator, so check out The article Tommy is alright, he has his foot in a cast for a while, but the man needs to stop driving. Last year, he lost his dog while tying down a load, and a drunk driver smashed into his trailer. Had Tommy not dove under the trailer he would have been laid to rest beside his dog. Just amazing. I think it is time to retire, the man is 70, do you think this is a clue?I am amazed sometimes at the things that people live through, and to only have a busted up leg and foot...

I hope he does alright at that age much of the trauma can show up later. He has my best wishes. As I read it, it wasn't your uncles fault was it? Does he have the means to retire, the money?I did think a couple things upon reading your post and the article. First, that's a lot of tomato juice and second I'd kill the fucker for killin' my dog.

LOL, if he would leave the women alone he could retire...he has a 7yr old daughter. But heck he has a 30 something yr old wife...she can pay the dang bills! She is NDN, and they live on the res, so there is alot of family support too, IDK what he is thinking..lolWhen this accident happened he called my Grandmother and said "sis, I just got hit head on, call 911" Why he called her first IDK, but it worked out ok, Pappa talked to him while Grams called 911.As far as healing, I am sure he will be fine, the docs are keeping a close eye on it, of course at his age it will take longer to heal. But it is a tough generation: My grandmother never had a broken bone until she was 50, and that was because she wanted to take me skating...and well, she wasn't very good at it. When she broke her hip, Tommy was the one, who just picked her up like a sac of potatoes, and loaded her up to get to E.R...He is no wuss I think he was about 60 at that time, and she was pushing 200lbs....

I heard about it at the beginning of the month, Grams just let me know that it was online yesterday. My ex hurt himself worse, by rolling his big rig over, and he was only going about 5mph...I'm in awe right now at how smashed the truck is, and how minimal the injuries. As for the dog OldFolks, he has lost so many on the road, I am not sure how much he cared.....sad huh? (one he lost by throwing a ball into the back of the pickup, and had been doing it for years, but threw too hard and the dog fallowed the ball out of the back of the pick up, they were on the hwy, so I'm guessing about 65mph..) VERY odd lot.Oh, and I have traveled that stretch A LOT, and it is so straight, it isn't even like the other driver was cheating a corner or anything..
